The ROLLING STONES have topped the US charts for the first time in 25 years with Sympathy For The Devil. The 1968 classic, re-worked by FATBOY SLIM and THE NEPTUNES, was boosted by the successful 40 Licks tour. The single takes over at the top from a remix of ELVIS PRESLEY’S Rubberneckin’. The Stones’ last US No1 was Miss You in 1978.

fat boy or jxl remixs don't count in the scheme of things.
mind you, that voodoo lounge album was the best thing they done in years. good album, not great but good.
i am a fan.

ok, i lie!
sounds like they got their hand of the masters and simply threw jagger to the front and enhanced a few of keefs acoustic licks which were in the background and we couldnt hear on the orig recording.
cool to hear all the words though.
its a fucking classic rock n roll song that anyone could try their hand at mixing and it would still sound great. even if dj sammy did a mix he couldnt possibly cock it up.
ok, i lie again!
can i take that dj sammy shit back also?
