Eighties chartoppers Duran Duran have performed together for the first time in almost 20 years.

They thrilled hundreds of fans at the famed Roxy club in Sunset Beach, Los Angeles - many had queued up for ten hours

Veteran rock group Status Quo's Rick Parfitt has urged fans to turn out in force for the band's first ever outdoor gig in Scotland.

Quo's lead guitarist says he is expecting a "great gig" at the Knockhill racing circuit in Fife next month.

It will be the first time a music concert has been held at the venue, which could take a crowd of up to 10,000

It's the band's 40th anniversary in 2005
