Travis have announced they will play their first British gig for more than a year in Blackburn.

The show at King George's Hall will be their first gig since drummer Neil Primrose broke his back jumping into a swimming pool in France last summer.

He has made a full recovery after sustaining multiple fractures in his vertebrae as he struck his head and was knocked unconscious following a festival appearance at Belfort, France.

The show precedes their forthcoming charity gig in Edinburgh on June 22.

The band will be joined by Idlewild and Teenage Fanclub for the show, in aid of the famine relief charity Concern at the Edinburgh Usher Hall .
