KATYA NECHAEVA has been drafted in for the group’s appearance in Saturday’s Eurovision Song Contest.

Singer Katya, 17, has been ordered in to prevent an embarrassing flop in front of 150million viewers.

Tatu’s JULIA VOLKOVA has acute damage to her vocal chords.

Although she will still sing live in the contest, Katya will lead the backing singers.

Katya has previously sung unseen on the girls’ hits and is the next “fame project” for Tatu manager Ivan Shapovalov.

She said: “Ivan says I should be like a Lolita. He wants me to make an accent on my young age and sexuality.”<br>
Another young girl about to be exploited then.

actually one of the more interesting Tatu news bits posted - makes me wonder if the original girls really sing on their records
