January 2003
Leeds baggyists The Music reckon they will crack America, after touring extensively over in the States. Talking to Radio 1, the say the reason most British bands don't make an impression in the US is "because they can't be arsed." The band declared their intention to spread their Zeppelin-esque groove rock gospel, saying: "There's an entire world you can reach out to, you've just got to make the effort." The Music's emotive classic rock sound will no doubt lend itself to American FM radio, but maybe the scraggly track-suited Muppets need to get themselves a bling-stylist to impress the yanks?
