onc in electronics, did not continue my education, due to caring for my ill wife jono, you prolly dont know me. hey... I just read this.. I am wondering how you and your wife are ? it just really touched me, how you are caring for her. so many people in the world just thinking of themselves.. i just want to say to keep an open heart to the world and this life.. the miracles come, like having a family and then come the TESTS. I just am hoping you have faith. we dont have all the answers.. there's so much we dont know about "the plan". we think we're so smart and sophisticated, but we know nothing.. I hope you have support, fmily and friends, i'm praying you have the strength for everything you need to do. god bless you.. I needed to be reminded of everything I have. thank you for sharing... all the best, Thanks for the kind words and thoughts

lol isn't it funny how you go to college, spend all that time on a degree and then often don't even use anything you learned in your "real" job? lol after I killed myself working full time and going to school (took me 7 years to finish everything) I worked as a world history/geography teacher as well as football/baksketball coach for 3 years and made pretty good money, about $3,500 a month.
When my fiancee came here to London to go to the Royal Veterinary College I started a business to clean swimming pools in my spare time, about 10 hours a week. I had worked in the summer as a lifeguard for the previous 10 years so I enjoyed doing that kind of stuff. Within about 3 months I was making more in my "side job" than as a teacher! That summer the business just took off with me getting contracts to run 5 big neighborhood pools with lifeguards and clubhouses etc. The next summer I got 5 more pools and was able to actually hire managers at every pool and 2 supervisors to handle 5 pools each. So here I am, able to actually live in London during the winter with her (we are married now) while she goes to school. I have to go back home just efore memorial day to sign contracts and work during the summer season. I am glad I went to college but man I do sometimes wonder just how well things would be going if I had just skipped college and went straight into starting this business. Of course, I was pretty young then...

Don't know what to choose: in Italy it's different or we call all these steps in another way... Anyway I have a degree in philosophy.

dropped out of elementary school to run this forum I remember a teacher said to me "If you go like this, you'll never ever able to be a part of this human race" when I was 15. I loved studying, I still do, but I hated doing what teachers told me what I should and shouldn't do. I was quite rebel when I was at school.

Those who can, do.
Those who can't, teach.
Those who can't teach, teach gym.
