lol Caro - i see what you voted in the poll! you liar - you dont have a masters degree im sure you have a Bachelor's same as me admit it ;D ive never fancied a Masters. 5 years of higher education after leaving school was enough for me. A lot of people seem to do them for no particular reason.... just an extra year of being a student and avoiding work maybe ;D also dont agree with people going straight from university into teaching. At primary school level its fine but i dont like seeing people do something like Media Studies at university, get a masters then go straight onto a teaching qualification.....in order to teach Media studies at university... seems incredibly pointless...

do you want me to post my resume? i have two BA, a master degree and more than a year and half of interships lol. all lies. 2 BA's? what is it with you foreigners claiming all these dodgy qualifications? shadowboxer claims to have 2 degrees even though she only studied an extra year for one of them.... ;D Its bollocks man! in england it would take a minimum of 5 years to get 2 degrees, usually 6. how come all you dodgy assed foreigners are getting 2 degrees without spending the time? huh?? racism - thats what it is!

I know here at Maryland you only need an extra 30 credit hours and to be able to fill the requirements for the major to get a double major.

John boy - i dont think ive ever met such a stereotypical socialist as you ;D bet you wont be telling your children to fuck off uni and fail at school! nothing wrong with academic achievement... if my children were to go to uni and spend 4 years of their lives studying some daft degree that wont give them any advantage when it comes to finding a good career then yes i would! id rather they just went out and got themselves a job and used thier brain to better themselves in the workplace. there are so many degrees which are just a waste of fucking time and money man. im not saying people shouldnt go to uni and study, i was mearly pointing out that you dont need to go to uni to have a good career and also still be a total genuis like me and i failed at high-school, maily because the fact that i was totally a bit of a lunatic when i was a teenager, but also because exams were actualy difficult to pass when i was at school! whats the pass-rate for A-Levels in england now? 99.9% or something???!!!

i was mearly pointing out that you dont need to go to uni to have a good career and also still be a total genuis like me dont you mean a total nerd like you? ;D i wonder how many other scotsmen have gone from lunatic to nerd! hehe i totally agree with your point on daft degrees. however (and im sure this applied to you too) you gotta remember most people at that age dont really know what they want to do with themselves. And I reckon getting some more education and living a student life is just as fruitful as earning minimum wage in some dull as fuck job... of course you dont need to go to uni to get a good job though. personally one of the more retarded policies to come out of Tony Blair is his ambition to get over 50% of all school leavers into university.... that just doesnt make sense! University is definitely not for everyone. thats the kind of sillyness that has led to the skills shortages in the UK workforce and the thousands of students wasting time on Geograpy degrees.... what was it Prince William did at edinbrugh uni? history of art or something like that? Yeah thats brilliant Wills - I feel so much mroe in favour of the monarchy now i know you can tell your Picasso's from your Monet's...

onc in electronics, did not continue my education, due to caring for my ill wife jono, you prolly dont know me. hey... I just read this.. I am wondering how you and your wife are ? it just really touched me, how you are caring for her. so many people in the world just thinking of themselves.. i just want to say to keep an open heart to the world and this life.. the miracles come, like having a family and then come the TESTS. I just am hoping you have faith. we dont have all the answers.. there's so much we dont know about "the plan". we think we're so smart and sophisticated, but we know nothing.. I hope you have support, fmily and friends, i'm praying you have the strength for everything you need to do. god bless you.. I needed to be reminded of everything I have. thank you for sharing... all the best,

Yeah, as someone who also care for a sick wife I've got total repect for Jono. :)I went to college but didn't do very well as I wasn't really bothered with it. When I left school it was a choise between college or being used as slave labour on a YTS so I chose college.
