oh and another question... i thought the official candidante was elected by the party members, not regular citizen? there are some different types of primaries - for example: for a closed primary you have to be a member, for a open primary, you don't have to. btw: Hillary!

lol ya really. In some states voting in the primary elections is open only to registered, card-carrying party members, whereas in many others any Charles, Will or Harry can vote in them. But here is the weird part - some states use the "caucus format" (did I spell that right?) like Iowa for example. It is kind of like a delegation of party members get together to decide on the chosen nominee, although I believe the term is used for a meeting of a parties MP's in the UK.
ANYWAY I think the best shot for the Dem's to win the election is gonna be Obama. I think Hillary is just too polarizing a candidate. There are just too many people that simply do not like her! Anyway I personally have always held the belief that the USA will have a black man as president before a woman, but we will certainly see!
Personally I would vote for Obama but if Hillary is the dem's nom I gotta go with Rudy G or John McCain over her.

Edwards. Michael Moore totally demolished Hilary Clinton's credibility in Sicko.

I would like to see Obama win, however I don't think he would fair too well in a presidential election because he is black.
I don't like Hilary Clinton either, so I will have to go with Edwards, only because he would be the best shot the Dems have at winning a presidential election.

it seems like lots of Dems are acting like the only real contest in this election is going to be between Clinton and Obama, they think they have the presidenc wrapped up already. Of course they thought that in 2004 as well.....
