knebworth without a doubt but not everyone agrees, i first got it on tape at the end of 96,and i still get the same buzz now that i got off it then, more than any other gig i've every come across, mainly because liam never sang better in his lfe before or after those nights and i just love alan whites drumming, even though d drum kits in earls court or maine rd were much better that makes it for me. if i had to take a cd and live on an island for the rest of my life i would take this gig every single time. greatest gig ever playid by anyone in the history of music.

Wembley.
For Live Forever alone. The best live performance of a song they've ever done.

Wembley. For Live Forever alone. The best live performance of a song they've ever done. I beg to differ. Ever seen Live Forever on Jools 2000? Bril;liant

No man this is the best version of Live Forever: With Liam still being able to sing the "you and I are gonna live forever" part...it sounds so magical Anyway I'm not gonna vote, my top 3 gigs aren't in the list.

i would say maine road/knebworth. that, to me, was the 90s (and cool britannia) right there.

I would of voted for Knebworth cause it was defining for the decade, G-Mex cause I still remember being blown away by Noel's solo on Champagne Supernova, but Finsbury Park takes the cake! One of the best setlists and an all around incredible performance!

I've been to most of those gigs. 2nd night at Maine Road 96 is hard to beat. Although Finsbury Park came close. Shame Finsbury Park was never released on dvd. As for my all time show, that would have to be Sheffield Arena 1995 on the Definitley Maybe Tour...

Has to be Barrowlands. Noel's setlist, Johnny Marr, the best version of Slide Away ever sang by Liam, that crazy version of Roll With It...
That gig is hilarious and superb at the same time. I love it every time I watch.

The Beatles had Shea Stadium, Oasis had Knebworth. It's their most famous gig for a reason. Although I'm fond of the first night at Wembley - I got the DVD for Christmas when I was twelve and watched it over and over and over again. It's a shame the second night was so bad. At Knebworth, I've heard that both nights were fantastic, but I've only got the bootleg of one of 'em, and I don't know which one it is!

Honestly I was pretty shocked to see Barrowlands 2001, what I picked, be so far ahead of the others. It was a good surprise what a great show! I usually can't pick between whether I prefer Barrowlands or Finsbury Park 2002. It's almost a coin toss to me.

Gleneagles 1994, out of them all, but Barrowlands 2001 and Earls Court 1995 are both awesome gigs; Knebworth and Maine Road as well for the significance each have.
