grew up spinning records really w. my dad and brother...
first record *45 - Wings "Band on the Run
LP - had so much vinyl like simon and garfunkel, police, kinks, clash, stones, led zep, neil young, dylan
8 track - Quadrophenia - got it at yard sale - the 8 track player, etc.
cassette - Pink Floyd the wall or Blondie heart of glass
cd - the smiths

I've only had a cd player since 1995, before that it was all records and tapes. Im kinda glad I held out till '95 until I got one coz it meant that I bought all the early Oasis stuff on vinyl Cannae mind what the first cd I bought was, think it might have been Electronics first album

I have The Smiths cassette called "Academy Imar 85" (bootleg), haven't listened to it for ages. Is there any way to make a CD of it? Cannae mind what the first cd I bought was, think it might have been Electronics first album Johnny!

When i was younger i used to just but compliation CD's but the first proper album i bought was Urban Hymns, i heard lucky man once and that was it i had to have it.

The first cd I bought was Weezer's "Blue Album" and I followed it up with one of my best purchases ever with WTSMG. Both cd's are just completely shot to hell now b/c i've listened to them waaayyy too much.
