i remeber thinkin of how much better DBTT would be than X & Y, Lyla leaked and i was listening to it non-stop, then i was comin home one evenin and listening to the radio and they played lyla, and the DJ said and heres the new one from Coldplay, and just thinkin' this wasnt soppose to happen So what is your point? |

noel talks shite - if you go by that then in all honesty- what has he done thats been of worth since 1995 - you have to look at bands for more than albums You haven't been madfer any of the post 95 albums and yet you are still hanging on? That is persistence ...in a sad kinda way. |

If Noel hasn't done anything of worth (meaning his music right?) then you do look at a band's music to determine if you like them or not. Albums are for the most part, what makes a band. Fact is that bands do put out their share of bad albums...The Rolling Stones, Oasis, etc. all have clunkers...It's up to their 'loyal' fans to decide wheter or not they're still fans after a horrid album. I still like Coldplay...just not crazy about X & Y. i didnt contradict myself at all - notice the word "If" but anyways no i do like alot of the stuff post whatsthestory, i loved the heathen chemisty era but i can see how alot of it wouldnt appeal to non oasis fans |

Of course Dom runs to the defense of coldplay. It's opinion not fact but alot of ppl myself included aren't hip to x&y. I love parachutes and rush of blood..... though.

Yeah I did. Speed of Sound is pure shite but it's not as bad as the other 2. I just can't listen to Fix You or Talk anymore. But the worst single is Hardest Part. That song makes me wanna puke!

I don't know what it is about talk that makes me not just fucking hate it. Pretty much everything else from X&Y is rubbish. It's great that Viva la Vida is so awesome

these are great tunes....almost anyone would agree that Fix You is better than Im Outta Time....Lyrically....vocally...musicaly...and production wise....
Fix You is one of my all time favourites and after my top 5 Oasis songs.....
Yes the riff in Talk is annoying Ill agree with that....
And Speed of Sound is lyrically stronger than anything Noel has written since TIOBI...
