fuck that, it's very sad but why so much attention for this girl, I've seen the reports from Fox, they are absolute ridiculous.....You should be ashamed for that, I can mention millions of subjects that are a lot more important to talk about than Natalee Holloway. You prob feel the same way about that douchebag Neil Entwhistle who killed his wife and newborn child too in Boston, and then fled to the UK saying he didn't know how he got there  What stories are so important that you feel they should be on instead ? |

Joran was a Dutch kid that was the main suspect in the murder of an 18 year old high school girl named Natalie Holloway who was on a class trip to Aruba. Joran was the last person seen with her, and his father just happened to be a judge there in Aruba. Sure, there are hundreds if not thousands of other stories of tragedy that happen everyday but the reason so many people are interested in this story is twofold - first we are talking about a beautiful and slightly innocent looking young blond southern girl who has vanished without a trace on a tropical island. Joran was with her in a casino the night she disappeared and supposedly they went down to the beach together, were going to have sex but he said he didn't have a condom so they had a little fooling around, then when it was about 4 am and time to go he says Natalie told him to just leave her there on the beach, not to walk her back to her hotel. He says his friends picked him up and they all went home, leaving her there. The next thing you know she has vanished and of course foul play is suspected but there isn't enough evidence to charge him. And second the mystery in the case has been hyped up by the media no doubt but people are interested enough for ABC to have a prime time interview with Joran on a Friday night. |

many children go missing/kidnapped every year....
why is she so special? why does she get the media attrention?
i get flyers in the mail saying "have you seen"...most of those ppl have been missing for 5+ years....sometimes even 20 yrs!! yet they get NO attention from the media.
the media always picks a story like this once per year....remember Elizabeth Smart? and such....
it pisses me off....yeh its interesting to follow, so i guess the media wins, but really who gives a shit beyond her family?
and to answer what other topics: WERE IN A FUCKING WAR....thats 1000x more important than a missing girl....

Not saying it's right or wrong, just wondering what people think about this Van der Sloot kid. |
