SRV is the best player indeed.
but i think jimmy page lifted blues into a whole new level. SRV was better technically, but page was more of a pioneer i guess

Come on Robert Johnson is the blues.
His story, his voice, his guitar, his lyrics, the people he inspired...
here is how it goes...
Robert Johnson (influenced by Patton, Bessie and others) puts down 28 tracks that directly influence Muddy and BB who plug in there guitars and inspire the british boys (clapton, page et al)...
I can't believe that it took so long for him to get a vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
