of course I do.. America has always been a "melting pot.." while it is good to know how to speak the language of the country you are in and have some level of assimilation... I SUPPORT THE PRESERVATION OF LANGUAGES , TRADITIONS, & CUSTOMS cos they ARE PEOPLE'S IDENTITIES.. I live in DC and it is very diverse here.. very cool. I fled small town america cos everything was the same and it was oppressive and boring.. Later, I was fortunate enough to live abroad for 3 years and experience Europe and different cultures.. I gained a whole new appreciation for life and doing things differently.. variety IS the spice of life..
