c'mon now m8s ! they are from fucking Birmingham ! hang your heads in shame !
Tuesday afternoon, Knights in White satin, I'm just a singer (in a rock in roll band), The Voice, Gemini Dream - not ringing a little bell in yer heads FFS ? (haha) ask your parents then..
biography...
The Moody Blues were originally a British rhythm and blues-based band; they later became best known for psychedelic music and early progressive rock. The Moody Blues originated in Birmingham, England. At the time, Ray Thomas, John Lodge, and Michael Pinder were members of El Riot & the Rebels, a regionally popular band. El Riot disbanded when Lodge went to technical college and Pinder left to join the army. Pinder then rejoined Thomas to form the Krew Cats and had moderate success. The pair recruited Denny Laine, Graeme Edge and Clint Warwick, appearing as the Moody Blues for the first time in Birmingham in 1964.

Oh Tam, you say you love you rock and roll with the attitude, swagger, etc...and the Moody Blues are the fucking mormons of rock music! I mean, even Justin Hayward looks like one of Utah's favorite sons!
And the fact that all of their albums sound exactly the same is not so exciting either

I, NO OFFENSE BUT, WHAT ? I LIKE ALL KINDSA MUSIC IMAGINABLE.... LIKE MANY MUSIC LOVERS, I HAVE EXTREMELY DIVERSE TASTE. CHEERS.. So do I! I'm not saying they suck or anything - they are talented and they were consistent and the fact that their productions are so well done doesn't hurt either....it's just that what this guys did, other guys did it too...just better. Actually I can't think of bad songs but great songs don't jump at me either (let alone albums)....they're quite plain to me, that's all -no need to get all mad I guess I better change my name to mean bastard ;D
