why do we still need gears anyway? isn't it all a bit draconic?
we have to fiddle about with fuck off gears, why can't we just concentrate on the road?

and while i'm at it, why are cars able to go over the national speed limit? makes no sense. why can cars go 140mph when the speed limit is 80mph (or whatever it is). senseless.

we travel without seatbelts on. we live this close to death.

strange thing i've noticed in recent times - people in North America are looking for manual boxes in their cars these days , while more and more people in the UK (and possible europe?) are opting for automatic transmissions in their cars these days.
