I no you've probs seen this question a hundred times (maybe even two hundred) but am new to this site and thought id get to know people opinions, feel free to vote ;D
By the way this is just to settle an argument between me and my mate. He's a "Def maybe" fan and im a "morning fan," Theres money riding on this so be honest lol

There are fanatastic songs on Definitely Maybe but Morning Glory is the perfect album. My vote for WTSMG!

The two best albums ever. But i'll go with DM, 'cos of the rawness and the in yer face-ness (if that makes sense), plus it made me want to pick a guitar up and start a band. In one word, inspiring.

Ok, Definitely Maybe. There's absolutely no filler on it and while WTSMG had GREAT singles it's got nothing that quite matches Live Forever, at least I think so at the moment.

Definitely Maybe is about real rock and roll; Morning Glory is the most brilliantly produced album there is
Definitely Maybe really is full of great songs (most people would only have one song off the album they really don't like); Morning GLory only has six really good tunes (RWI, Wonderwall, DLBIA, She's Electric, MG, CS)
Definitely Maybe has Tony McCarrol; Morning Glory..... nope
Definitely Maybe has a pretty good album flow; Morning Glory's is penultimate
Definitely Maybe was the third Oasis album I bought; Morning Glory was my first... and I celebrate Oasis Day on 4 May every year just cos of that
Definitely Maybe has Live Forever and Slide Away (yes ;D) as the great ballads; Morning GLory has Wonderwall as a great ballad
Definitely Maybe has NO EPIC SONG; Morning Glory has Champage Supernova!!
It's hard to weigh it out.....
Definitely Maybe will always be their BEST album from a rock and roll standpoint and for the quality of the songs in general
Morning Glory will always be the album that really just means Oasis to me. It's just so well produced

Morning Glory was the first album I had, then Be Here Now, then Definitely Maybe.
And Morning Glory as a track is probably my favourite Oasis song...
But Definitely Maybe has Columbia and Live Forever and Slide Away and Columbia...
I'm going to have to go to Morning Glory here, because of Digsy's and Married With Children
But that's a killer none the less
