Metallica did a good doc all I can say about them, but hate there music mostly... The radio station here haves nightly Metallica and it's pretty much a Metallica station actually, so I really can't stand listening to them anymore... If you went other bands within that genre, I would say Black Sabbath or Ac/DC

METALLICA no question! saw a bit of maiden at reading and they were of i suppose but i quickly got bored and went to watch echo and the bunnymen instead! me and my bro agreed it would have been far better if metalica were there!

AC/DC is not metal ::)

And Black Sabbath is wat too slow to be considered in the same metal category then Metallica and Maiden...they influenced and pretty much invented the genre....but Metalica perfected it
