while listening to a song for the first time, that the song is so familiar to you and it seems like you had listened to it before? when i have heard "bring it on down" and "rockin' chair" for the 1st time i got that feeling. maybe thats why they are one of my fave songs. do you know what i fuckin' mean?

I think we all have that feeling with special songs. I had that too with bring it on down and rockin chair man! Also with a few other oasis ones like magic pie, LAMB or masterplan. beatles too with working class hero (not that i am one, but i do get that feeling with that song) im only sleeping, help, hey jude or across the universe.
...and i could go on forever...

DLBIA is one for me because of the intro (ripped from Imagine) and because of Alans "Ringoesque" drumming.

well, i listen to everything, including stevie wonder. you see where this is going, with step out, a great song though. the masterplan reminds me of the beginning of stairway (and the song that influenced stairway, taurus by the band spirit). i also hear clapton's 'wonderful tonight' in the solo of live forever.

well, when i heard weeping willow (the verve), the first part of the chorus is exactly the same as a part of champagne supernova!
