John because he died before he had the chance to sing a duet with Wacko Jacko.
And also because he wrote most of my favourite beatle songs
(although Paul ain't too shabby himself.)

george. he was by far the best. and he came out with 2 albums that were better than any other solo beatles album: all things must pass, and brainwashed (laugh all you want, i think it's better than all things must pass).

george. he was by far the best. and he came out with 2 albums that were better than any other solo beatles album: all things must pass, and brainwashed (laugh all you want, i think it's better than all things must pass). It's good to see another George fan. He may not have written as many songs as John and Paul, but his contributions to the Beatles are among the best. He was also the most talented guitarist of the lot. Also he didn't suffer from the ego problems, John and Paul did. |

what exactly dyou mean by 'he was the beatles' ? exactly what i was thinking, john lennon was not the beatles. The beatles had 3 genius songwriters in john lennon, george harrison and paul mcartney. The beatles would not have been anywhere near as good without the other two. |

Mine is either John or George because John was a fantastic vocalist and all around songwritter while Georges guitar playing is just fantasic! His sense of leads and rhythm really shaped the 'sound' of alot of Beatles tunes.

I always think it´s hard to choose a favourite.. but when someone asks me, I always say Paul.. cause he came up with most of the crazy stuff and I love his solo carrer (Wings included on that)... so yeah..
