i really dont understand how anyone can prefer be here now, i havnt listened to that album in about a year and a half. Dont get me wrong i dont dislike it or anything, but morning glory is just better in all aspects of music imo, the lyrics, the riffs, the melodies (which is a strong part of bhn imo) and the production. To be honest morning glorys b sides are better then most of the stuff on be here now imo.

I also dont think be here now has many truly brilliant songs, i dont think there's a bad song on it but most the songs range from ok to good, but nothing that makes me go thats fucking class, except maybe dont go away. Wereas morning glory has so many, wonderwall, dont look back in anger, some might say, champagne supernova. Come on, what a fuckin album morning glory is! The other songs like cast no shadow, hey now, she's electric would be stand out songs on bhn.

both of them are top notch. while morning glory is a bit more subdued, be here now was the pinnacle of old oasis for one reason: the overexcess. both were great, but morning glory is better. and for two reasons only: it's not too long like bhn, but the songs fit into place perfectly. i still don't know why there was a reprise to all around the world, even though it's nice. it just was a bit redundant and helped fuck up the continuity. oh well.

i think i hope i think i know is one of their wrost. songs, and stay young which was a bhn b-side. its an awful song too.
