my first BAND that i saw was oasis at jones beach 1996, where they supposedly broke up the next day. not the best show i've ever seen, but i enjoyed it. OMG I was supposed to be at the gig...but I was 15 and stupid... I thought it had sold out..which it had not.... argh Anyways first gig was Oasis live at Hammerstein Ballroom Oct 7, 1997....

The Who with Robert Plant as the opening act two years ago in Chicago. The Who can still kick ass after all these years!!

My 1st concert experience was a good one. I saw a band called 1964 the Tribute in my hometown of Holland, MI, during the Tulip Festival. This was probably about 10 years ago now. They are a great cover band, and they dress the part. I've seen them a few times since and they are still doing a great job being fab.
My first "big" concert was Oasis at Chicago's Rosemont Horizon in Jan. 1997. Mega show.

just think though mate the next time you are there.
the clash rocked that little hall many moons ago.
you can still feel the energy in the walls to this day.
and the ramones.
