No doubt he'll go straight into second album after big gigs next summer. Strike while the irons hot etc. I'd like to see him try something with a modern twist. A Grime flavoured crossover album maybe lol. Didn't Wiley have a meeting with him at Glastonbury to discuss ideas for working together? DHTBTW showed he's open to trying something a bit more up to date although whether he's willing to do a whole album like that is another matter. I think he should definitely do some collaborations.. he's proven his success as a solo artist so he'll likely get some offers. It seems very likely that he will do something with grime and maybe something with Ashcroft or someone similar. I'd definitely like to see him step out his comfort zone. I think the biggest achievement is that he's realized that he can do it without Noel or oasis/beady eye... which if you think about the fact that he spent @20 years with basically the same band.. that's a huge obstacle to overcome. Also, he seems happy in his private life... that definitely helps. But, he does have a tendency to self destruct... that's still a huge concern of mine.

Disappointing to hear he was boozing while he was supposedly trying to shake a cold. An hour before he went to catch a flight home? Or have I missed something? Nope, you got it... unfortunately. đ

I've met him at an AIDS benefit, he's actually very shy. Although, he does have a "diva" mentality. And he's very petite.

Cover of the single Talking to a Snowman. HELENA MCMANUS Email Published: 12:13 Monday 04 December 2017 Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has given a Co Antrim music school the go-ahead for their new charity single. Young students from The Music Yard Larne penned Talking to a Snowman using the melody of Gallagherâs hit track, Songbird. Students from The Music Yard Larne: Students from The Music Yard Larne: And after receiving approval from the music starâs publishers, Kobalt, the group have released the song in a bid to raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer - the flagship campaign of Cancer Research UK. Based on Point Street in Larne town centre, The Music Yard has been up and running for three years. Group director and co-founder Thomas Hamilton said: âThe young guitar students at our school had been learning the chords to Songbird by Oasis in preparation for the Christmas tree switch-on in Larne recently when one five-year-old student complained that it wasnât a very âChristmassyâ song. "Thatâs when we had a light bulb moment; that we could change the lyrics to conjure up visions of Christmas and get our music students involved in recording and releasing it as a charity single. "Within the space of a week or so, we rewrote the lyrics using lots of festive references. We were then able to shoot the music video to accompany the single, featuring approximately 60 Music Yard students playing guitar, drums and singing." The finished track features the talents of pupils aged between five and 16, and was recorded at Railway Studios in Lisburn. âAs Liam Gallagher originally wrote the song, we required his permission to use the melody, so we all breathed a sigh of relief when we received full endorsement from his publisher!â Thomas added. The single can be downloaded now on Google Play, Spotify, and Deezer and will soon be available on iTunes. Donations can also be made towards the Stand Up To Cancer campaign here. âOur students are truly excited that they have been part of this single release and also that it will go to such a worthy cause, as almost everyone unfortunately nowadays has been touched by cancer in some form whether it be a family member or a friend," Thomas added. "We might not be able to compete with the other big names battling for the UK Christmas Number 1 slot but if we can get as many people as possible behind us, we will certainly give it our best shot and raise some money for charity in the process."
