If it does turn out that most of Noel's fans hate Who Built the Moon and, as a result, it's a massive flop, he'll only have himself to blame. His decades of releasing dad rock means that people more resistant to experimental music have filled his loyal fanbase, and most of the fans who would appreciate something more daring would've run away years ago. This is what you get when you build up a reputation as a backwards "rock 'n' roller"! I can appreciate experimenting. I do not think this is a good song. It's almost unlistenable to me. I was looking for a more dynamic sound, and got this instead.

Neither are a positive listening experiences to me, but I'd rather not go back and listen to BTL to compare.

That's interesting. Based on someones comment earlier, I was thinking the exact opposite. I thought the majority of the fanbase recognize Bring The Light as being somewhat shit. Maybe a 4/10 around there? When that song came out it was an assumed 1/10. If you go back to those threads you can see the complete and utter overreaction from people calling it the worst song ever etc. I still think Bring the Light is terrible. If I never hear that song ever again, I'd be perfectly alright with that

This song makes me want to burn my copies of HFB and Chasing Yesterday. If the rest of Who Built the Moon is this good, then I won't be needing those two ever again! Opinions are opinions, but it's like I'm listening to something different then what you guys are reacting to? This song does absolutely nothing for me.

Honestly I agree with this: Liam who always praises John Lennon doesn't know the words to one of the Beatles' most popular songs, he doesn't even know there's a second verse before the chorus... Granted he was shitfaced, but even when he was totally pissed he still remembered the words of Oasis songs (see the Lille 1997 gig). One of the most embarrassing moments of Liam's career for me; Wembley 2000 was funny but he really made a fool of himself here. I feel a bit sorry for the Foo fighters... Thats debatable if he remembered Oasis songs at his worst. There are some really bad ones out there and sadly some of them or my fav. As long as it's one of the ones they laugh about. The worst was when they whole band was on crystal meth and had no clue what the hell was happening and each person was trying to play diff songs at the same time. Fun times lol. He needs the words to Wonderwall haha I don't see what the big deal is...

Either Gas Panic or Shock of the Lightning, but Gas Panic live give it the edge

Just realized the Air Studios version of Greedy Soul says "recorded at Air Studios" rather than "Live." Maybe they learned their lesson with that debacle...

Of all the times I've randomly heard Oasis in America, She's Electric was the one I've heard most other than Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova

Hoping beyond hope that this is somehow wrong. He is my favorite artist, and just absolutely gutted. His tour just ended a week ago, and he was still making great music. One of the only artists to not ever make a bad album.

If a Manchester bombing, or multi-million dollar gigs couldn't get them to be on the same stage, I doubt that an induction to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame would do it. They've never cited it as a goal, and I of course I hope they get inducted, but its not like its a giant deal for them personally. Also it's really kinda a joke of a place, multiple completely unrelated acts inducted, and it's really who supports you that has connects thing more than anything else.

I know Wonderwall has been played to death, but for me this summer it was the first chance to see Liam and to hear it live and it was an amazing moment to be there when everybody sings it. Maybe for someone who can go to many gigs it's not that special, but I'm glad he played it. I'm fine with Wonderwall but Live Forever should be in the setlist. 2 song encore.

Well done Del Potro! Was a shame how injury stricken his career has been, and glad he beat Roger!

Since it seems he might do some Beady Eye tunes because he sang Soul Love, put this in mate as an occasional opener instead of Rock N Roll Star. Just my opinion, but I'd be pretty pissed if I went to the gig and he substituted that for a Beady Eye song, even a good one like FLW

He needs to do a live poll at the beginning of gig and play the most voted at the end! The poor little band would've burned out doing rehearsal Throwing in 1-2 different songs once in awhile would be great. So happy to hear him give I got the fever a shout. If he indeed consider the whole Oasis catalog i'd love to hear Who Feels Love too Very surprised he can even remember I Got (The Fever) haha

wow! first ever solo tour, album is not even out and he's already playing arenas! I've seen Noel 3 times, Beady Eye 4 times and enjoyed all the gigs very much, but liked BE better since I think Liam is much better live as he just has 'it' and is really rockin'. So I think Liam solo will be the best post Oasis tour yet and the closest we'll get to an Oasis experience (unfortunately only got to see Oasis once)! Cream of the crop is that Liam is really mixing it up with the setlist. With playing songs from Be Here Now and even performing DLBIA, he has already done more than I could have dreamed of and it's only going to get better if he plays any of the songs he tweeted about or other rare Oasis tunes or songs we haven't heard in a long time! Bring it on, Liam! Some Might Say might be the song I most want him to play if he can still do it justice...

Quite happy they have gone with December rather than October, will be a better gig for it I think. The less hardcore fans will have had time to get to know the album by then and there wont be so many people scratching their heads when the new songs are played. Also, a break for his voice wouldn't be a bad thing...

How fucking good did the band sound tonight! Hope they're finally starting to get their shit together now. Some really great touches with the backing singers and even just the couple of extra instruments on Wonderwall made it sound beautiful. Other than Jay completely screwing up the D'You Know What I Mean solo after it was perfect leading up to it. I do think it was one of the bands best performances tho
