So pleased all the gigs seem to be selling out for Liam. Same here, I think he really needed this to throw the failure of Beady Eye and the success of Noel behind him

Seeing all this expectation around twitter and social media, do you think some dates will be sold out today? Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if almost all of them did

Boring, poor choice for a single, barely enough to make it on the album in my mind

Never ever give up on getting the tickets, I got mine after 6pm last night (I think it was that late) and, even though it's way up in the rafters, I don't care...I admit, I did worry and I did get sad but in the end, it all worked out. So please, don't get too angry if you don't get them straight away or down if it says sold out because there is always tomorrow and there is also the possibility of getting them later on

The Quiet Ones is a decent tune, as is I Can See It Now IMO. I'm a big fan of the DBTT era songs. I don't quite get the big hate The Quiet Ones gets..to me it's no worse than Love Like A Bomb, Keep The Dream Alive or Pass Me Down The Wine. I think I Can See It Now is one of the best kinda instrumental tunes they have, would have prefered Oasis to come out to that from DBTT onwards but was never gonna happen

Did oasis release all the singles before album? I thought they dropped off cos the album was released by the time the 3rd was out. Could be remembering wrong though I suppose it makes sense to release singles prior to the album nowadays. We/people generally were happy to buy singles, even if we had the song on an album, partly because we had record COLLECTIONS. And our collection was something we'd be proud of; I've seen plenty of people over the years post photographs of their Oasis collections. Now that we download, well I've never known anybody take great pride in their iTunes downloads. The second reason to buy a single post-album release was for the b-sides, but they've - as somebody in this thread has already said - become the extra tracks on deluxe editions of albums. And they've released the current singles very early - in relation to the album release - could this be to get them out prior to the dreaded leak? It'd probably make sense to release one more single prior to album release and possibly a stand-alone single - a la Whatever - around Xmas. Oh god, that's going to be Eh La isn't it? Liam Gallagher, the Christmas single
