Neither do which is why I refuse to vote in this...it's rediculous to compare the three of them

Liam saying on twitter that he WANTS to go on the Oasis Podcast made me smile a lot..then we can ask the questions that we want answering and not the poxy same old Noel/Oasis ones he always gets Hopefully he’ll do an extended podcast. Things like this won’t come round often, gotta be done right. Exactly and knowing what the podcast is like, it will be done right

Nope, the b-sides are what helped to shape Oasis. They are part of the story. Also, Be Here IS just RIGHT! None of the Morning Glory b-sides would work and also, if something like The Masterplan would have been saved for the Be Here Now sessions then it might have ended up being recorded differently and being, as many have called Be Here Now, too long and have too many guitars.
In fact, this is something that really grinds my gears. You always get people saying "The Masterplan should have been on Be Here Now" etc when, if that would have happened, the song may have been massively different to what we have. It could almost have been a Magic Pie type of song (I'm not saying it would have been, just an example)..I mean, both periods had different recording styles, different productions. It's too simplistic to say something along them lines. If Noel had used Don't Go Away for the Morning Glory/Wonderwall etc sessions, that might have sounded different also. This is something we will never know and it really does my head in when people try and shoehorn 'The Masterplan' etc onto Be Here Now

Barely scraping 2/5 for me. It's ok but it feels boring to my ears now, the production isn't very good and the vocal is bad and I am so glad Oasis never used this song. Added to that, the constant "The Roller"'s are just plain annoying and feels like Gem didn't actually know what to do with the chrous. It's so repeatitive!

How about "Holy mountain" vs. "Mucky fingers"? Neither but if I had to choose, Mucky Fingers

As You Were is easily better today than DBTT. Better than pretty much all of the post 97 Oasis albums to be honest. Don't Believe The Truth has aged badly and the highs of that record come nowhere near the highs of As You Were.

Boring as!
Same old Noel video, looks like a rip of Heat Of The Moment + Shock + U2 (the video that came out not long after Shock)...doubt it will ever be played again in my house

unpopular opinion: i obvs love the studio version but i actually prefer the 09 versions to the ones in the bhn gigs, the key was way too high for liam even then and the melody and rage was sort of lost in the hiss, the 09 ones were proper raw and angry, liam should perform it some time with his improved vocals, itd be awesome Even more unpopular opinion. I don't think there has been 1 good live version of My Big Mouth. For me the 09 live versions were awful and had no ooph about them

Liam sings about a softsoap (or is that soft soap) in bold, he referenced it in a tweet before the album came out but..just what is it?

I can see where Noel was coming from with this but I just feel it fails in what it were trying to achieve. All he's had since the split is "Noel is not coming out of his comfort zone" and, to be fair, he was going to do that with AA but that fell apart.
So now, Noel has tried to head in that direction but, my problem with this song is, it feels like its trying too hard to be different and it somehow ends up sounding like something nowadays U2 would sing (which isn't a very good comparrision.) I fear for the rest of the album if this is the lead off single.
Sure when I first heard it, I was like WTF but now I've listened a few times, it's ok but it's still very poor in comparrision to even his solo stuff (leaving Oasis to one-side)

I never have and never will understand the hate for Bring The Light, it's such a fun nonesense tune and I'm pretty sure I thought that when it first appeared also
