And I also wonder why non-UK residents cannot buy it... Because it's a UK release innit. The same way non-US residents cannot buy IIHAG Am i the only one thinking this region download access seems very bullshit ? Dont want to heard Noel speaking about the internet, mp3 and leak anymore... It's a shame...

This song is for me now better than everything NG done on the solo project. Even better when you are in a complicated love story far away from your girlfriend.

Great night. I was following it on The Soapbox. The amount of support and persuasion the guy got was unbelievable. What strikes me now is that nobody questioned the authenticity of his claims - not like now, where there are so many fake leaks etc. It's a shame because when somebody posted 'I have the album and I'm gonna leak it' - they mean it. Amazing scenes. Ethan was a total hero that evening. I remember he was concerned he could get into trouble but he seemed to be brought around by the masses of support from the regulars of Soapbox. One of my favourite Oasis related evenings. Ahaha yes ! I was at my office this day when he asked us about the track. The board was in madness... I remembered the run to go back home, a great bottle of whiskey in 2 minutes at my favourite shop... I was sure Ethan was gonna released the whole thing. It was the beginning of the weekend... So perfect ! Great times ! Ethan was a hero.

Alone on the rope is really nice, the only thing that I am not happy with is that it reminds me a lot of Kula Shaker´s Hollow man... it is just small part of the song, but almost the same... compare the line "If you try as hard as you can..."at 4:00 and the chorus of Alone on the rope ... anyway, great song. I'm probably alone in saying this but I think Kula Shaker are a fucking great band. You're not alone

Whatever happened to this "Ethan" guy and the STC forum? I rembered the day he came on the board and asked us what song from Doys we would like to hear... and then he released the whole thing... amazing night.

Sure would love to rate it but apparently the planet does not want me to be able to purchase it. That's a fact... Noel management makes a very bad desicion with the region download access. (Only for the uk, only for the US) what the fuck ! A ton thoushand customers are out just for this stupid reason. I only can have Alone on the Rope by megaupload. So please he can now shut off his mouth about music and internet. The same for all the management team. What a fucking mistake !

Several listens in now. Miles, miles better than WAL. What was Noel thinking? A clear genius, but why can't he ever pick the perfect tracklist? This is album material right here. Again: what was Noel thinking!? Wait and see my friend... This album seems to be awesome. And all the tracks we know, are going to be mega on the album with the tracks order during a listenning session. Just can't wait...

Funny, Noel spoke about this today :
"Who decides what 30 seconds of music is on there ?" He is a little nervous about that:)

Yeah, one day it will all end. That's the only good thing about the split: That both Gallaghers have continued. They both could have so easily just called it a day. They have enough money to need to do it anymore. But thank god they have continued. I took Oasis for granted, thinking they would be around for a long time. The split has made me realize that they aren't getting any younger and we need to cherish their output for as long as it lasts. Don't even want to think of the day it ends..... ... and that's the beauty of them both continuing: they're not doing it for a paycheck. they're doing it because they both still have that passion and you can hear it in the music (from both liam and noel) not because they HAVE to, but because they WANT to. that's why in the end, the end of oasis was the best thing that could have happened (although we didn't see it that way at the time). Exactly !

This guy is clearly a genius.... Enjoy all the good time we have... in 20 years we'll not have the opportunity to listen this kind of thing... So fucking proud to tell to my child I was in Wembley Stadium for the last big Oasis show and for Noel Gallagher in London. Yeah, one day it will all end. Can't imagine the day when I read on my iphone the death of NG or Liam. Could be a very shocking time for me and for you I imagine... Anyway ! that's not the subject ! Can't wait for the live in london ! 15 Times played on my itunes, and I'm started thinking this track is the best track from NG.

if i had a gun is considered by only those in Milwaukee as the worst song of the bunch. it has a great chorus, but nothing else. In all seriousness, what is wrong with you? IIHAG is a classic in every sense of the word. Love the drumming cresendo as the chorus kicks in. Love the added guitar part on the final portion of the song. Great lyrics and emotion. The production could have been better, sure, but that's nitpicking, really. The production on SMS is shit, but that doesn't mean it's a bad song...... If Noel can top IIHAG on the album, then it'll be an stunning album. I'm expecting him to, too, with the likes of EOTR, RM, DO, etc Agree with this. Why you've got -250 karma points ?

Maybe Noel Gallagher decided to do this just give the fans a treat? Going off the clip released today, he seems to like the idea of mythical songs suddenly popping up. Or maybe something to get our attention out of the album leak ;D
