Maybe this is some stupid publicity stunt to try to sell the VIP and pre sale was extremely limited normal seating.... Guess I will have to wait until Friday usually the way.

In answer to my own question I hear that the area where artists enter in Toronto is on lock down so will be tough. Also we think Liam comes a lot later than the rest of the guys so keep that in mind. I would like to meet Liam before his soundcheck. I've had great luck meeting Noel before his Sony Centre & Massey Hall shows. What do you mean by lockdown? Is it hard to hangout (loiter? lol) around Rebel? Yeah that's the sense I get...Might try anyway Maybe if we try in a group it'll help a bit? haha... Liam's pretty good at walking back toward a crowd if he drives in. I'll poke my friend for more details on how it works over there. Also I made Liam and his team some gifts (basically I'm a major fangirl crossed with someone who loves any opportunity to start a creative project), so I have to figure out how to get them to the LG team...

I have to admit as much as I know Toronto is Oasis Country I'm surprised it sold out already!

I'll be there with three others. Looking forward to it, of course. And it's been awhile since Liam's played here. Same venue, different name. It's too bad it wasn't around this time of year because I'd like to see him play at Echo Beach (or whatever the hell it's called now). Noel's show was a lot fun there. Yes it was my first time there and I really enjoyed it! Resulted in this photograph: www.analoguegallery.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=347_478&product_id=9092

Would back up what I know about Gem from his Beady Eye days being a bit of a, erm, well... I don't think 'player' is the right word. Boss guitarist though. Those rumors were circulating during the Oasis days too, tbh. I have met him a few times over the years and from what I always hear / saw it was quite the opposite. Quiet chilled out nice guy, not into that scene. But who knows I guess?

Ugghhhhh.....the fangirl in me can't imagine missing anything VIP, etc. for Noel but the grown-up and logical person (who read abysmal Yelp reviews of the VIP experience company) knows I can't. Also if I'm paying $400 CAD a ticket (that one DOES include a ticket, right?), I'm not guaranteed rows 1-3?! That's the biggest no for me in this equation...

I worked for bands and booking agencies for years. That's a complete piece of fiction. Let's take a 3,000 capacity venue with an average ticket price of 60 (before fees) = $180,000. Most deals are structured as a guarantee vs a percentage. In that case the guarantee is a much lower amount. The deal for most of these venues is probably a $25k-50k guarantee vs 85 percent. Even in the most favorable deals, the artist probably would only walk with $155k - and out of that they pay tour costs. Labels frequently help with your costs as many tours don't break even, but even those advances are recoupable from sales (and don't think Noel has a deal that would have that as an option). You can't play every day, so even with sell outs you make about 600k a week, and then pay crew, band, hotels, transport... Makes a lot of sense. Now, the question.....if many tours don't break even, and nobody but the record companies are making money off of recorded music, how do artists make any money? Merch? Why do you think NG is always telling us to buy a t-shirt? LOL

Anyone thinking of trying to catch Liam before soundcheck in Toronto? In answer to my own question I hear that the area where artists enter in Toronto is on lock down so will be tough. Also we think Liam comes a lot later than the rest of the guys so keep that in mind.

I can't believe this is sold out already! Dammit I have to buy a ticket for my mum...gonna have to keep a close eye on this one for a ticket drop. There are some resale tickets still available... just a slightly higher price Yeah fan to fan "resale" = scalped. I'll wait until they do a ticket drop the day before or go on stub hub for face value the day of the show.

You spelled Liam 'tormented vampire prince' Gallagher completely incorrectly. I'll use that as a backup title

Nicely done. I like how young he looks. It's almost like a teenage Liam. ----- As a side note, maybe just link to your gallery for purchase using something other than the actual url, because it's hard to see past ANAL there. Just sayin. Interesting you see that as it's him recently but I do see what you mean!

This is incredible. How long have you been painting? Cheers! Oh I don't really, just play - so I did a few paintings years back, and just started up this past month a bit.

If youve gone this many posts without a snide remark about it looking like Gary Neville, you know you've nailed it. LOL I'm so Canadian I had to Google who that is

Went with Brian Cannon down to my local tattooist so he could hand write the tattoo I've always wanted...direct from his hand. One of the proudest moments as an Oasis fan for me. Never in a 100 lifetimes did I ever think this would become a reality. But it did. Peace, love and the greatest band of all time, Oasis. Love this Brian!

I always figured if I got a tattoo it would be something - even a song title or lyric - written on me by Noel, then tattooed.

Nice one Lisa, looks really good! You've captured his cool brooding look very well - you should consider making prints of it if you can, maybe some people will be interested in getting a copy Thanks so much, that's very flattering! If anyone is interested I'd be happy to Thanks for the vote of confidence! I figured I could have painted classic Liam but he looks great these days and there's probably not much art showing his current look which is great. I do hope he keeps his hair at least this long, however...

Hey guys, first of all I am a complete amateur artist but I've been getting into painting for fun. Wanted to share my Liam painting with you, taken from a recent photo of him. I can't seem to stop fussing with it, haha. Toying with the idea of gifting it to him when he plays Toronto...unless it's total shite, then I won't Either way I had fun! Thanks for letting me share. Looks great. A bit impressionstic. Would make for a great Star Wars villain. ;-) Liam's next project?
