I dont think hes depressed , he s just not the same as he used to be .
Maybe sometimes he seems a bit miserable and bitter but thers also interviews where hes as chipper and funny as he was , so I just think he couldnt carry on like he was in the early days . And if he did hed look a bit silly anyway , he s just being what he is- a slightly moody middle aged Rock star

He's hitting 40, I'd be depressed aswell! Maybe hes bored with music, theres nothing out there now like Oasis, theres no kids with guitars making cool music anymore. He was a legend at 26, hes seen the world 100 times over, what more is there to do?!?!
Look at the facts:
He's nearly 40
He's fullfilled his dreams by the time he was 26
He's expected to make dad rock records even though he doesn't want to.
He's been, literally, all around the world, so many times
What else can he do!?
If he could do anything, i'd want him to make the best Oasis record he could and then retire. I'd also want him to do solo stuff.

he was heavily into drugs before 99, maybe coming off them made him a bit depressed.

Comin off drugs is really bad. It can set off a lifetime of paranoia. But with them chest pains he had in 98-99. Its was either do or die.

exactly, think of all the great time he's had with drugs, so much so that it more or less takes over his life, and then hes told he has to stop taking them or he'll die. If your an addict i imagine thats gonna piss you off.

Its only like you or me who likes his ale and the quack tells you to stop drinking or you'll die (a bit like George Best) YOU'RE GONNA BE PISSED OFF! I personnally have been asked to stop drinking so much by my own doctor, but fuck it i'd rather have a good time drinking than wallowing in depression for the rest of me life.

he is not depressed, noel just isnt 26! now he has anais and things to handle, 'cause before drugs made is problems fade away... guess.. but he is definitely not depressed--

Erm i think he aint depresed, but maybe he aint happy with life at the moment! Cos he want happy with the new album was he? But apart from that, he loves writing and seing his name in the album sleeves as quoted!  |

we can't know for sure. maybe he is just preoccupied. or truly happy but just isnt the type to go around announcing how he feels...i mean him being all funny, cocky and loud in interviews before is prolly cos he was on fuckin coke the entire time.
but even if we did have the opp to ask him, and say he was depressed, high chance he'd deny it anyway. cos depressed ppl generally dont go around moaning 'i am soooooo depressed' (those who do are usually just trying to gain attetnion)
