I find it bizarre that Heathen Chemistry is so hated on this forum when it has the best singles from any Oasis album post BHN. OK there is some guff in there but I do feel that the singles drag it up ahead of DOYS. I agree with you about Heathen Chemistry, mind you, I wouldn't say that She Is Love is one of the best singles but the other songs which were singles then yes, they're some of the bands best from the 2000s.

Only the first two are set in stone, change my mind on the others all the time, but based on current listening:
1 Definitely Maybe 2 What's the Story Morning Glory
3 Dig Out Your Soul 4 Heathen Chemistry 5 Standing on the Shoulder
6 Don't Believe the Truth
7 Be Here Now
Really struggle to listen to Be Here Now despite being a teenager in love with the band upon it's release; but it's hard work. Just find DBTT really boring - the low points of some of the others may be worse, but it does nothing for me.

I fully agree with you about Be Here Now, it's my least favourite Oasis album and the only songs I actually listen to are D' You Know What I Mean?, My Big Mouth, Fade In Out and Don't Go Away. The rest I never bother with at all and I much prefer the acoustic by the pool version of Stand By Me to the album version which I've never been mad on.

I could have been quoting myself there - love DYou Know What I Mean and Fade in Out is probably my favourite non single on there. And yes, acoustic Stand By Me all the way! I skip so much of BHN, but with that said, DBTT is less interesting. Aside from Importance of Being Idle there's very little on there to catch the attention. Lyla is decent, but lots of boring filler.

1. MG (teenage nostalgia, got me into the band) 2. DM (brilliant, except for a couple of fillers) (3. TM (great songs, but rather hard to listen in sequence))
4. BHN (mostly because of tradition, but I really like some of the songs) 5. DBTT (a lot of fun songs, getting me back to Oasis) 6. DOYS (half very good, half less than desirable)
7. SOTSOG (cool new sound and topics, but not Oasis enough, although GP! is brilliant 8. HC (boring, only saved by SCYHO)

1. DM 2. WTSMG --- 3. BHN --- 4. SOTSOG 5. DOYS --- 6. DBTT 7. HC
I am incapable of listening to DBTT and HC, they aren't just bad Oasis albums but they're bad albums period.

For me, the more interesting ranking is how the albums (Oasis and solo) rank from SOTSOG onwards. If BHN and TMP were included, they’d likely take the top spots. But the rest, that’s what’s more curious.
I’m still thinking on this. I know DGSS would be at the bottom. I know COYK is my favourite Liam album and CY my favourite Noel one but how they all rank with the post 00s Oasis albums. I’d say factoring in B-sides too as there weren’t as many.

I love The Importance Of Being Idle but Lyla not so much.

Full Gallaghers ranking... a bit more difficult but maybe 1. DM 2. WTSMG 3. The Masterplan 4. NGHFB 5. SOTSOG 6. Chasing Yesterday 7. As You Were 8. DOYS 9. DBTT 10. Why Me? Why Not 11. WBTM 12. Council Skies 13. C'mon You Know 14. HC
(Never listened to the album Liam made with John Squire and never listened to entire Beady Eye albums... so can't rank them).

Council Skies is excellent for those ranking it low.
Just finishing a listen right now. Massively grown on me this album - it’s Noel’s best solo album by far.

Regarding the others, I would swap C'mon You Know and Why Me? Why Not? and perhaps a few changes on where they fit in worth the Oasis ones. I haven't heard all of Liam & Squire so I couldn't rank that one

BHN DM (although it’s really #1 if I was to judge it on more than personal meaning…BUT something about BHN gets me) MG HC SOTSOG DBTB DOYS The Masterplan would be 3rd place if including I think for me. The ones below MG generally have highs and lows more so than any of the others. The highs on HC (THT, SCYHO, LBL and Songbird) are pretty much for me the best of all post BHN. Standing…Gas Panic! WFL and GLIO are the highlights and just not quite as good as the HC ones.

Don’t really listen to DBTT and HC. With a few tweaks DOYS and SOTOG are really good. Have to be in the right mood for BHN but when in the mood, it’s great.
The Masterplan would fit into third place I think, if counted.

Oasis
10/10
Definitely Maybe WTSMG
8.5 Be Here Now (going back to this after years away, it’s a very good record but spirals out of control in the last few songs)
7.5 Dig Out Your Soul
7 Standing on Shoulder of Giants Don’t Believe the Truth
6 Heathen Chemistry
Think the post-BNH albums Noel got too lazy and put a lot of stuff out that was ‘this will do’. Leaving off good songs from DOYS because of a strop with Liam is a case in point. Bit more time and care and more confidence in his own songs would have made better albums.
Solo/ post oasis
8/10 NGHFB Who Built the Moon ( extra points for doing something different, loses points for only having 9 songs on it) Council Skies LG/JS
7.5 As You Were Chasing Yesterday ( probably deserves higher but seemed a let-down after Noel built the hype around the Amorphous Androgynous record)
6 Why Me Why Not Come on you Knw
5 Different Gear Still Speeding BE -
