Horrible experience this. I lost my dad on the same day oasis split up and the excitement of seeing my band back together has slowly turned into bitterness. I applied for the pre sale, spent all day on Ticketmaster on the Saturday for nothing. Seeing Liams replies on twitter (yes I know what he’s like trust me) and the complete wallopers that have got tickets and people with multiple tickets. I preferred it when they weren’t the “in thing” Fuck social media and fuck Oasis. Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad pal. Tough time to go through but keep your chin up fella. I had the very first pre-sale left with restricted view by the time I got through the queue for Wembley. Sat all day from 8am until 4pm for the following Saturday and nothing. Then sat pretty much 2hrs a night on Ticketmaster resale and just not been quick enough for the few seats that appeared. I didn’t get any invite for the second ballot but my wife and brother did, yet not an invite for tickets. Friday evening Lady Luck shone and I have two tickets for the first night at Wembley through TicketMaster resale. Not cheap but thats TicketMaster for you! I’m taking my daughter who loves Oasis but wasn’t born before they split up. The last time I saw Oasis with my now wife was Aug 2009 at Bringlington Spa, my daughter was born May 2010, it’s in the genes. Don’t give up man you will get there, it will take some hours in the evening hunting tickets but if you want it, it will happen. Keep plugging away pal, take care of yourself and I hope to see you next summer! I h

Everyone is feeling it and so much emotional links to oasis …it’s what makes this hurt and people feeling bruised by it all. Did you just keep joining queues for various dates or is there somewhere you can view the tickets that come up?

I am so glad I got one by the way. My mum was a huge fan. She always knew they'd get back together. She sadly passed away in April. I had some jewellery made with some of her ashes in, so a small part of her will be there. And she'll be watching down with the best seat in the house. Your mum will be there together with you and your sister😊

I’m hoping once the hype dies down spares will become available, managed to get an extra Heaton park in 09. That Bridlington Spa gig looked an experience I think applied for that one but was unlucky. It’s only a small venue isn’t it?

That’s the correct phrase for it I think “bruised” Hopefully all the people on here get sorted as it full of proper oasis fans. For some people Oasis is life like a football team, they are our band, from us, for us. I think that’s what makes it more tough to be honest.

Yesterday I managed to get a standing pitch ticket for the first of the Dublin gigs. I got it on the Ticketmaster.ie website from a resale. I had to catch a very early train (~5am) and while waiting I checked Ticketmaster. Lucky for me there was one ticket available at 'In-Demand' pricing. I'm delighted to be going to one of the gigs but not so delighted at the extortionate price - €480. But as I see it, it's either pay the money or don't get in to the gig. So I decided to pay it. Ticketmaster are laughing all the way to the bank. They coined it on the initial ticket sale and now they are doubling up by charging for resales. Their shareholders must be very happy indeed. Good for them. I would expect that more and more resales will be made available, especially with the Americas tours meaning that folks won't have to bother crossing the Atlantic to see Oasis live. You'd expect a few of the more casual fans to drop out closer to the time also. So anyone still looking for a ticket, don't give up hope. I've been monitoring Twickets for resales, not one ticket has appeared. Useless...

I'll buy tickets on resale for Metlife and I hope it's not as expensive as you got them for Dublin. As you say, a lot of people will get off closer to hour zero so I hope there's a good number of tickets at affordable prices.

I thought if it was through ticketmaster the price was the same as what was paid originally, is this not the case? I know if you sell you can't sell it for more, but can you do less? Actually yeah this should be possible.

Be afraid, be very afraid I don't know if dynamic pricing was in effect for the US sales. Hopefully it doesn't cost the same as a small sun holiday. Hope it works out for you man. I've been to three-day festivals that cost less...

I think it's time for me to look for a trade because I bought two tickets in Chile, it would be more feasible for me than being scammed by Ticketmaster with resold tickets.
