Good stuff! You never know what you get from RA and what he's up to live but at least he got the chooons and looks alright on the bill. Rather have me him than any of the dull indie stuff Courteeners, Blossoms, Inhaler, todays Kasabian - let's hope these don't bother us in the end. 😂 Out of all those bands mentioned, Richard's the dullest of the batch. If you prefer any of these bland textbook indie bands over listening to some Verve classics(or the handful of RA solo bangers) you need to check your head!

I'm not a big fan of Ashcroft but I've always loved A Song For The Lovers from his solo stuff and I've always thought that was a good song.

How the hell did you come to that conclusion? Do you see my profile picture? If you think Richard rehashing inferior versions of his Urban Hymns selections is better than reuniting the Verve, hope you enjoy.

Still holding out hope for The Prodigy… I mean that would be spectacular given the dirge that is supporting them. At this rate, it'll be woman beater knobhead extraordinaire and failed solo artist Tom Meighan and James bloody Hargreaves added to the support list.

One hit wonder. They did support Oasis at MSG 2005, so no need it again, Liam.

Are they even still together?? I loved them when they opened before. The man can belt I'm not sure if they actually are as I thought that they had split up a while ago. Their first album is really good though.

I know Nic Cester was in a supergroup a while back with Matt Bellamy and Miles Kane doing covers. Wasn't too bad tbh lol no idea if Jet are still active. Think Liam is taking the Mick tbh

I find having local acts supporting to be the worst, I wish cast were the support for the Australian tour, that would be a dream come true

Richard Ashcroft, who was lead singer and songwriter for The Verve, will open for Oasis next summer. This is my favourite performance. Ashcroft on top form.
Good support and opening for Oasis Live ‘25 (UK Tour). If only he got the Verve back together!

Why not Stereophonics as an opening/support act. I know nothing about Cage the Elephant, and I’m not fussed about Cast. Saw Stereophonics live in 2008 in Washington DC, and enjoyed it. Thought they’d be worth a punt.
