Saw someone on the OCG Facebook group say announcement Wednesday, tickets on sale Friday. Their mate works for See Tickets apparently and everythings in place ready to go I think if it does happen there will be weeks of hype leading up to any announcement. Social media posts/teasers, interviews etc. I would be amazed if it was just a quick announcement and then tickets on sale a couple of days later. |

I’m torn. I’d love to see Liam and Noel put all their issues with each other behind them and be brothers again- life is too short.
But not sure I want to see “Oasis” back together.
For a start, it’s would probably be the current NGHFB line up plus Liam and Bonehead which I would feel a bit disappointed with..
I didn’t go to see The Stone Roses on any of their reunion gigs as they were my heroes when I was 16 and wanted to remember them from those days and I’m feeling similar here.
If it was the original line up or the WTSMG 5 (assuming they’d be doing the 30th anniversary for it next year) then I’m probably
in. Just can’t see Guigsy wanting to do it though.
The chat about them doing 10 shows in Manchester and 10 in London can’t be true though surely, why would they do that?

They can earn as much as they'd do with a tour but they get to sleep at home every night and don't have to travel together. |

Liam has created the momentum by reigniting the flame, people would lose their shit. But more importantly Noel is close to his 60s and I don’t wanna see them on stage half dead like the stones |

Coldplay is playing ten shows there. And Dua Lipa two. So i highly doubt that we gonna see ten more. Maybe Tottenham or Finsbury Park? Or they just gonna do a UK-Tour with three/four shows per city. London, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham. |

This worries me slightly. I think that they are doing it for the cash, rather than them actually burying the hatchet. The idea that they can arrive in separate cars, go to their separate homes and only communicate via interview. That is the only reason I don't want it to happen. I don't give a fuck who the line up is. If it is Liam, Noel and David Jason on tambourine it will still be Oasis. Bonehead is an icon but he isn't Oasis - Liam and Noel are. |
