Calling it: Noel and Liam have not really made up, but they're reuniting Oasis nonetheless. That's what the announcement is. The line up is Liam, Noel, Russ, Gem and Chris w/ Mikey at the keys. Many, many tour dates will be dropped and Wembley will be an afterthought. Though, I may be wrong about that, we'll see. But it's real, from what I'm being told. Idk. We'll see y'all. We'll see.Oh, and we'll get a new photo of them. (I'm gonna come back and check on this later. Have fun buying the tickets everyone! Good luck!) If shows are announced tomorrow, tickets won't go on sale upon announcement. They'll wait until Thursday or Friday at the earliest in order to drum up more hype and to get pre-sale signups. I think Liam alluded to dates being revealed on Friday, perhaps tomorrow a press release officially announcing the reunion? Whatever the case, I have no idea if I will see them. I've never seen them live, I sure as hell want to, but the likelihood of getting something this big is, fair to say, slim. But me getting to see them is beside the point and quite trivial. It wouldn't dampen my enthusiasm by any means. An overwhelming desire to see those two mad bastards bury the hatchet and be seen together for the first time in 15 years is enough for me. The hype, the recognition, the endless articles about what it is that makes this band unique - that feeling and obsession when I first listened to them all those years ago, it's all come together in the last couple of days again |

I could be majorly, MAJORLY wrong about them not being on the best of terms when its announced. I just don't expect them to be totally square. And I'll most likely believe it if the first interview is held at their mum Peggy's home. THAT'S when I'll believe they've likely patched things and that everything we've seen and heard can be more or less confirmed.
I think Noel sharing a beer with Gene is so sweet, all things considered.

8am England time I would imagine. I believe its as simple as...Noel got a divorce, realizes he's getting close to retirement. Liam far surpassed him, and is actively demonstrated proof of concept w/ the DM shows.
