Good morning to my fellow Americans, good evening to the rest of you! The announcement comes at midnight tonight here in California. I'm on my way to my shift at the coffee shop where I will be forcing everyone to listen to Oasis for the next six hours. Cheers! I’ve already set an alarm for 1:55 a.m. (Central/Texas) so I don’t miss it live.

I guess they deleted the posting. Surely Cardiff can’t be first up.

My guess is that if they announce a reunion, they will just announce that they have reunited and share some UK dates, while the rest will be announced later.
If they are keeping this a secret and we're all waiting for Tuesday, it's unlikely that they've shared this with many people without the news leaking by now. Some organizer in Mexico or elsewhere would have already leaked the whole story long time ago.

Get a few hours, I can’t push not sleeping for a consecutive night. Realistically, I’ll say sod it and stay up all night regardless. This is something we experience once.

It's amazing how I'm willing to sacrifice getting fired for what surely will be a 30-sec promo video followed with a few gig dates. Would be hilarious if it's a real press conference though..."We will now take questions from reporters"

I’d be stunned if Oasis played American football stadium. Those venues are massive and Oasis never got stadium sized large in America. Would a 15 year break make 50-70,000 people attend an Oasis show at MetLife? Highly doubt it but would love to see it.

I guess they deleted the posting. CA is too large to put up only one gig? I feel California is about the size of east coast

As an American, not sure I'll even bother going to an American date if there are any. I'm going to try to get a ticket to the very first date in the UK where the diehards will be...not interested in being a part of a milquetoast American crowd just waiting to hear Wonderwall.

Highly doubt it but would love to see it. here's the thing tho... arguably Oasis are more popular now in the US then they were then my daughter - who is 25- has been obsessed about them for several years now as are many younger people who've rediscovered britpop and shoegaze resurgence so i would not be surprised by a few stadium shows in the states at all

Everything is so eventized now, and the pandemic only sent that into overdrive. A good chunk would buy-in simply for the event. Also if you keep the US gigs at a minimum that would also drive sales, ie if you're a midwest Oasis fan you can ONLY see them in Chicago. If you're a west coast Oasis fan, you can ONLY see them in LA. Then the sales aren't wholly dependent on drawing that city's fans but for a whole region. Between Detroit, Milwaukee, St Louis, and Chicago - I'm pretty sure there's enough to fill a stadium for what could be sold as a one-off gig.

Cardiff being the first gig is surprising. I'd have thought Manchester surely

I've never seriously considered the thought that they'd play here in the States. I've just been going under the assumption I'm going to have to go to London or Manchester. Like you (and millions of others), I feel like I need to be there for that first gig, but if they do come to America it would be thousands of dollars cheaper to do that. Guess we'll see...

Don’t post much on here but thought I’d share why I think it leans more towards a reunion.
My brother is friends with someone who works with a well established Scottish music promoter. Apparently they had to sign NDAs as they were told Oasis were playing Murrayfield in 2025.
He told me this TWO weeks ago and I immediately brushed it off as just another rumour and didn’t think much of it. Then a few days ago everything kicks off on here with all the news from various other sources and the announcement last night. It’s too much of a coincidence considering he told me this way before any of these other sources came out of the woodwork.
It’s got to be a reunion

Would make this all easier for me and my American Oasis brothers and sisters.
