Any accountant with a client with all these things and has just had 20 million quid gone in an instant would be telling him he needs to claw some back pretty quickly.

Yes he's not skint and never going to be, but financially he's operating in a different world to the rest of us. It's still a HUGE financial hit when you have many assets and you're in the highest tax brackets. It's not as simple as "I lost fuck loads of money but i still have more than most" when you're dealing with those kinds of sums and assets.

Part of me thinks this must be more than just a tour. If it was some sort of nostalgia trip Noel would’ve done it for DM rather than WTSMG, would make more sense. A schedule clash could’ve simply have been resolved by launching the tour AFTER the reissue rather than before. I think (hope) it’s more, and includes new music, which maybe released from spring or something. Not the first time new music is announced literally almost a year before it’s release 🤞🏻

We all learned from The Roses that it soon becomes empty trading on nostalgia. Balance it all with quality new stuff.

As long as Noel continues to write good songs and Liam can still sing, then absolutely, new music should always follow.

I've always had a little feeling that Noel has built up a decent amount of songs that he's wrote but was just waiting on an Oasis reunion. I know publicly he's always been against a reunion so you might think why would he have a backlog of songs for Oasis. I just think deep down he'll have known it was always going to happen. I've no doubt he's written songs recently, or even back in the day, that he's just kept to one side thinking "that's a Liam song".

I've questioned Noel's fitness of late though, he looks like he's been on the bevvies and fast food since the divorce.

He looked fit as a fiddle during Who Built The Moon era and admitted as much himself.

I know it sounds so trivial, but touring is physically exhausting so being physically fit is essential for these things. At their age, and with their previous lifestyles, they need to be fit and healthy for the sake of energy and performances.

I doubt it’s any live news conference though…. Noel isn’t waking up before 8am!
