what this be like led zep 1 gig next year and thats it, no new music just 1 show Noel won't relearn all those songs for just the 1 gig. I imagine we'll get a load of gigs over summer. Unsure if anything after that. Maybe maybe not |

Strange night. I went online 90 minutes ago to check this out, convinced that this was the usual rumours that we've read twice a year for the last 14 years.
Seems like it wasn't.

I wasn’t convinced until Noel put it up on his Instagram. Even the official Oasis website has strung me along in the past with over-hype for terrible remasters or some wacky vinyl.

Maybe maybe not Led Zep reunited for a tribute concert, a memorial for their old label boss, it was always only going to be a one-off. The Oasis one will be because a promoter has put a massive offer on the table, and the promoters will need to sell a lot of tickets (meaning a lot of UK gigs at least) to make a profit on it. |

A 19 year old I know from the pub from watching the footy came running up to me earlier and was like "mate you heard? Oasis are getting back together!" I dismissed it as there's bollocks every year online about it.
But he was like "nah its on Sky news and the Oasis twitter account has posted about an announcement". And ran off saying he was buzzing to see them live.
So I started thinking, I was 19 in 2009 at Reading Festival when I heard they'd broken up. This lad was 4 in 2009. Right there is a little nugget of the magic of Oasis and music across generations in general.
I now feel old.
