Guys and girls... The best part of 100million big ones will be what gets the two squabbling 50+ year olds to get back together. There's nothing wrong with that, but let's not pretend it's something it isn't. I don't actually think they should make music 'together' because how Noel and Liam operate now is completely separate. But to have them on good terms again, or at least good enough to tour, would be a huge step, and it's massive excitement. If anyone for any reason doubts how big Oasis are in the UK, then this should put that to bed. As I've said time and time again, they're the biggest band for not just one generation, but three. Obviously its cynical and going in seperate cars and all that. But not like touring DM isn’t cynical too. I don’t think any KISS fans would want 1996 undone even with the reunion being a cashgrab and the regained ”magic” was lost by 1998. |

Can’t believe a few of the negative comments. A few weeks ago this reunion would have seemed like a pipe dream. People now saying they wouldn’t be happy if don’t bring a new album out or certain line ups etc
Enjoy the moment. If you would rather go and watch a noel solo gig and him doing cover versions of The Mighty Quinn rather than an Oasis reunion you are very strange indeed.

People now saying they wouldn’t be happy if don’t bring a new album out or certain line ups etcEnjoy the moment. Well at the end of the day, rather like Moz we all want the one we cant have. Just human nature that things mean more when theyre out of reach. One thing in all this that flew completely below the radar was at NGHFB last gig, before the final song, Noel intimated he didn’t know when we might see NGHFB again….and then said “we’re all Oasis fans, yeah?….well buckle up.” Fair enough this could have been construed in a bunch of different ways but, to me, this was a tell… The wouldn’t also Noel saying that the crowd would see Oasis neither in 25 or 26 be a tell? |

I don't get the whole Reading rumour
People are really expecting Noel to just jump up on stage at a Liam solo gig at this festival and announce a reunion, while Liam's band are just stood there like spare pricks at a wedding?
Surely that's not gonna happen haha
We'll see I guess but it's highly unlikely.

Noel hasn't dismissed the rumours, but at the same time he doesn't normally issue a press release to do that – he gets asked in an interview. Unless he's done an interview over the past week where he was asked about this then I don't see what people expect him to have done?
(This isn't me saying it's not happening, just that Noel's silence isn't really an indication of anything).

I've always said that I'm not that interested in a reunion unless they do some studio work. Any tour is likely to be limited and chances are they won't tour in my part of the world so it's a bit hard for me to feel too hyped. I can watch a webcast of Oasis in 2025 playing live but I might as well watch an old concert of them playing in the 1990s. It'll be great to see them stride out onto stage together in 2025 but once that novelty wears off it'll be the same old stuff and the same old songs. Even if these reunion rumours are true, I wouldn't be surprised if it all ends up being a track wreck with Noel and Liam fighting again. Locking them together on a tour is a recipe for disaster - just let them quietly record a new studio album and I'll be happy. |

I don't actually think anything is happening tonight. But I've always imagined a reunion being announced by Liam doing Acquiesce at the end of one of his gigs with Noel walking out to do his part. If that happens or they actually announce this in anyway on stage at a gig I'll lose my shit. If that happened, I'd lose it. That's how you announce a reunion. |

A studio album is the last thing I want to be honest - I’ve really enjoyed the HFB albums and would love to get another couple of them out of Noel. Once round the world in ‘25-‘26 and then back to being solo artists sounds fine by me. We’d get Liam’s 2017-present voice, which while it still has some off nights is better than anything post Munich 2002. |

Although I'm desperate for a reunion, I unfortunately don't think it's happening.
Liam has tweeted as tho a reunion is planned plenty of times, I don't think we can believe a word.
Also on the Matt Morgan podcast recently, Noel was still referring to Liam as a tambourine player and was speaking about future HFB gigs/setlists.
Hope I'm wrong!
