Nope, gotta open with Acquiesce. Sorry, it's the law. The Oasis reunion is completely pointless and void, in my eyes, unless they bring back the 'WHAT FOR' at the end of Slide Away. And if Hello isn't the first song on the setlist with the "It's good to be back" refrain, they deserve to have shoes thrown at them.

IF this actually happens (and I am firmly in the camp of "if it is ever going to happen, it's now"), it will be interesting to see if Bonehead and Gem are both involved. I think Gem will be a must, as I don't see Noel wanting to play all the solos. And who plays bass?

As much as I would love for Guigsy to play again, and would’ve liked him to be there until the very end of the band, it’s reassuring to know that he left when he had, the same can be said for bonehead, as Oasis was just a fad honestly.

With Oasis almost certainly reuniting next year…
Will it be just for the Morning Glory 30th Anniversary or will they include all the other Oasis anthems and classics?
Will it be just a 2025 tour, or will there also be a new album?
Is this is one off reunion, or will the band continue for years thereafter?
Will this all work out, or will Noel and Liam have another devastating fight and falling out?
So many questions.

MG tour + album after that Then a new album and tour every 5 years like U2, Coldplay et al

I just want…
An album, NG written, LG sung.
Classic logo.
Microdot cover.
Noel playing lead.
11 songs.
No songs over five mins.
That too much to ask? 🤣

I just hope people dont get too over excited before anything comes out, so they don’t risk being utterly cut up in the event nothing materialises.
Not saying to act like there’s no chance at all as there’s at least been evidence, but don’t jump to thinking its a foregone conclusion.

It was 15 years ago this week that Oasis split, August 28th 2009.
Perfect amount of time, and solo career developments, to now reunite.

The 20 gigs story 10 in Manchester/10 in London seems to be gaining momentum for some reason Let’s say the capacity is 80,000 per gig. That would be 1.6 million tickets at 20 gigs. Wonder how high the demand. How fast it will sell out… and by inevitable extension how many days will be added on?

Wonder how high the demand. How fast it will sell out… and by inevitable extension how many days will be added on? 10 nights at Wembley is doable as shown by Taylor Swift But 10 nights in Manchester I just can't see it. Etihad will be undergoing stadium expansion so that rules it out. Cricket season means they can't do 10 gigs there. The arenas are too small to meet demand and no chance will the council sanction ten nights at a public place like Heaton Park.

I hope it’s not happening. But I’m feeling that’s quite possible

My dad and I have been saying for a while now that the Morning Glory anniversary is it. Once you're past that then there's not much of Big Occasion to capitalise on while they're still relatively match-fit.
I think Liam will have loved his DM tour but at heart realised that it wasn't as fun as it would have been with Oasis, so I think some effort will be made to reconcile if a Morning Glory gig is on the cards. Both brothers will be still out of solo album tour circuit mode, which has barely happened since 2009. I think also for the Noel camp, a couple of stadium gigs for an anniversary before getting on with solo work is a good "hit it and quit it" motive. It'd basically be him running through Oasis songs with most of his current band members plus Andy Bell (presumably) anyway, so interaction with Liam can be low (no months of touring, buses etc).
I'm about 65/35 it'll happen. Couple of nights at Wembley. Maybe a couple of nights in Manchester. Maaaaaybe one at Croke and one at Hampden, at a total stretch. Although it's high season for summer stadium tours to be announced in the next few months so they better get a wriggle on.

and it'll be Liam, Noel, Gem, Andy (Russ as reserve), and Chris with Mike Rowe on keyboards. Bonehead would join for the older songs maybe. There won't be a Guigs, and Alan's just not good enough anymore (judging by his instagram posts) and Chris is technically still in Oasis, and Noel's favourite drummer.
£200 on all that, I reckon.

If it’s just a MG tour, surely the lads would still include the likes of Slide Away and Live Forever in an encore. I can’t have Oasis reforming without a blistering performance of Slide Away. Come on, lads!

1000% yes. All the stars are aligned and the money 💰 is at a peak with MG30th
Please save this post when it gets announced.
Really shocked by the amount of people who said no. They will be in for a surprise very soon lol

I'd rather see Alan White than Starkey for nostalgic reasons

I'd rather see Alan White than Starkey for nostalgic reasons I don’t think Starr is an option. Probably Sharrock is in the pole position with White following him. Then Bell, Archer, Rowe + Bonehead for the encores.

I really do hope they get back together. Those solo years have been good or great, bu I always miss one or the other when theyre playing live. Although I got used to the sight of it.
Imagine them old gits at one stage together again, with Bonehead. Time is right, Oasis is what we came here for in the first place.

Ideal and possibly realistic line up for a possible reunion would be:
Drums - Alan White Bass - Andy Bell (no chance Guigsy would do it) Lead Guitar - Noel Rhythm Guitar - Bonehead
Gem's just too dull a guitarist for me. No style or personality to his playing. His own songs are horrific too. Quite telling that when Liam played with Coldplay at that benefit gig in Manchester, Jonny Buckland played the solo parts better than Gem ever could...
