Yeah but Noel's brother didn't own Coca Cola or Jack Daniels So you think Noel did this out of spite but hid it behind not selling gear to the fans? Wasn't part of the litigation that Liam claimed he never spoke to Noel about Pretty Green? Obviously the doctor's note but I am sure he is on record as saying he has never spoken about Pretty Green to Noel. Such a shame because Pretty Green / Oasis could have been such an easy way for merch to triple. I think Noel probably just didn't want any competition for the Oasis merch at concerts.

Achievement of the Year? Me getting blocked by Simon Price on twitter for calling him a 'student level ranter'. I think you probably hit too close to home! On a subconscious level he must know that the piece he wrote for the Guardian — a hit job essentially — was not good enough for a writer of his experience and time in life. I saw some snippets on Twitter of him comparing his working-classless against that of the Gallaghers… Fucking hell. If he wants to compare himself against Liam and Noel, I think the criteria should be belligerent immaturity — and on this evidence he might actually win!

Reading some of these ‘fans ‘ on these sites is unreal.. fans expecting an oasis reunion to be about £20 and that Liam and Noel we’re sat at Ticketmaster laptops upping the price.. the booking agents set the prices! Sjm and live nation! They’ve just sold 1.4 million tickets the mood isn’t low at all.. the party next summer will be fantastic . I didn’t get tickets yet but I agree the ticket prices are insane but modern day Britain is insane , it’s fucked up , knackered .. if they delay a European tour till 2026 then they will add more uk dates

It's essentially robbery. Do TM have to do more work when demand is high? Nah they're just fleecing people. *Puts techy hat on*. Actually they will. Not Ticket Master people, but their online systems. Their system will be hosted in AWS or Azure and when its getting hammered it will be configured to scale up or scale out (or both probably) i.e. more resources/servers/processing power added to it. That could result in a huge cost in their usage on whatever system its on - given the unprecedented amount of folk who were trying on Saturday (think I saw 500,000 in the queue for Dublin at one point?) that would/cloud possibly result in them using a huge amount of resources. I laugh when I see folk saying that its "a joke" their systems cannot handle the demand etc without knowing the intricacies of how these things actually work from e technical point-of-view. Again, that is in no way defending Ticket Master - they make millions upon millions and are essentially now a cartel in the world of event ticketing, but I am sure their outgoings are also huge.

It's too late, they all ruined the party If the brothers come out and address the Dynamic Robbery fiasco, and then we get some good interviews/promo this week, everything will be fine and good. Something needs to happen, though. Surly-faced pictures and radio silence is not the vibe. They're never gonna address that. Are they gonna condemn it? Then what? Get thousands of people asking for a partial refund? I'd imagine they'll stay far away from that topic as possible and let it die down. They probably couldn't give a shit anyway. I'd imagine they won't be even asked in interviews. Interviewers will be given certain things they can't mention such as a divorce settlement being a factor etc.. I'd imagine the only interviews we'll get anytime soon is one set up by the Oasis camp, like the old Colin Murray ones.

I've gathered from most of your posts that you're not too bright anyway, and thats ok, but surely you can see how dynamic pricing is a massive kick in the teeth to people who weren't told the price would be a lot more expensive and go up in real time.. But then you did liken it to Costa coffee being a fiver in another post. But Costa don't make you pay £15 because the queue is long. So I can only imagine you simply don't understand what the word "dynamic" means and what dynamic pricing is. Your posts suggest this. Nobody expected it to be cheap. They just didn't expect the price would triple on the fly.

Very late to the party but that Guardian article is genuinely sickening. What a fight to pick. He should be ashamed of himself and the paper is appalling - absolute fucking monstrosity that helps enable the self-righteous cvnts who read it. I’m as left as they come, Simon, and I think you and your employer are absolute wankers.

Mate you’ve been nothing but a sad act on here since you’ve been commenting , do you realise that the country is knackered and likening it to a Costa is exactly that , prices are inflated ten fold , the ticket agent has raised the price but as seen earlier some of those tickets have been placed in a certain area so they are forced to be general standing . All your posts are negative bullshit and any one that expected this to be any different clearly has no idea just how big the demand and pricing would be especially in the uk. They could’ve played Wembley for a month . Folks still wouldn’t be happy , working class band , oasis is a brand with a very marketable value . Folks go on about Paul heaton , Christ almighty quote author=" surrealneil" source="/post/1763323/thread" timestamp="1725287230"] Reading some of these ‘fans ‘ on these sites is unreal.. fans expecting an oasis reunion to be about £20 and that Liam and Noel we’re sat at Ticketmaster laptops upping the price.. the booking agents set the prices! Not like folk such as him to throw out hate pieces written in the darkness of a basement and then entomb themselves in an echo chamber where no opposing views are allowed in response. So surprised.

[br I can barely reply to this mess And yes prices are inflated everywhere , from Costa to gig tickets, nobody is arguing with you about that. We're talking about DYNAMIC pricing though. Costa don't triple their price on the fly if the shop is busy. Again, It seems you don't understand the definition of dynamic, so there's nothing more to say to you if you can't grasp something you clearly don't understand.
