It's Patrice Evra not Noel.

Already planning on life without tickets! What do we think resale prices of standing tickets might be?

American here. A lot of people I follow on YouTube and Twitter from the states, (people who are not really that fond of Oasis), are actually talking about the reunion or at least have mentioned it over the past few days. Some in a negative context. Some in a positive light.
But it's interesting to see how this news is floating around, even among people who don't consider themselves fans. I also keep seeing it pop up in discussions on YT live streams.
I guess my point is, this reunion is going to be a big deal everywhere. Mad fer it.

What’s the over/under on Cardiff being the first gig? Already gearing up for three different shows, don’t wanna spend a fortune to get Cardiff and then miss out on the first oasis show They may well do an intimate warm-up before Cardiff but I'm pretty sure Cardiff will be the 1st proper gig of the tour. I’m well fucked then. Any gig before Cardiff will mean Cardiff doesn’t mean anything anymore, and I’ll be fleased out of more money. On the good side of things, looks like I’ll be on a forced diet losing lots of weight next year.

I sent off to join the Oasis mailing list in early 1996 so I'm fully expecting details of my presale eligibility to arrive in the post any day now.

It’s a shame there will be a large percentage of people who have never been fans or never cared for the band but will try and get tickets just to say they’ve been. Fuck those people.

Nothing solid yet, but this could be interesting….. www.bbc.com/news/articles/c79wx21y25zo.ampAdd extra international dates in late 2025, and get a new album out in time for a grand 30th anniversary return to the higher ground. Maybe even sell out 4 nights to take back the record! UPDATE: this is my 1000th post, making me officially Oasis Manager. So thats me tickets sorted innit?

It’s so central to their mythology.

Hoping that's wrong and the original leaked gig itinerary is still correct with the Jersey show being on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and not on a weekday. It's just too perfect.

It would only pale in comparison to last time, best left alone I'd say. Knebworth's a nightmare to get to anyway, the size makes for bad sound, it's not really a good gig venue in any way except for thebrecord books.

Presale is a good way to gauge demand, actually. Gives them a sense on how many more dates to add…

Being from Toronto I can't see Oasis playing Downsview on a Wednesday It would have to be a weekend. The original date was the 24th of Aug on a Sunday. That made way more sense but Saturday would be ideal for Downsview

If they come to Brazil they're not doing just Rio de Janeiro. They're SURELY playing at São Paulo as well. Likely fake.

But it wouldn't pale in comparison to all the people who weren't born/were too young/couldn't go in 1996 that could experience it now. Liam did Knebworth, that was very well-received and memorable for everyone in the audience, and this would be even bigger.

Everyone around those gigs just seemed so happy to be there.
