I’ve always thought there’s something a bit hobbity about Chris. Can imagine him scratching his hairy feet while eating elevenses. He does look a bit like Martin Freeman even the name... Sharrock...from the Shire.

If reports are right both Bonehead and Gem will be in the line up and so they should be.

Here’s the Sky News report of Oasis’ split on August 28th, 2009. I remember exactly where I was: On the train back to Washington DC to begin my Senior Year at GW, when I got an email from one of my friends informing me of the news. I was gutted.
Now I will remember where I was when Oasis reformed, and the drama that ensued with the announcement! We have come full circle. You ain’t ever gonna burn my heart out. I am chuffed.

Where does Gem stand is the question. Is he going to be on Noel's side of the stage?!?!

If Bonehead and Gem are definitely confirmed then I honestly think Gem will be a perfect replacement for Guigs on bass and Bonehead on rhymthm. Sad that Whitey isn't involved but that's pretty much the perfect line up for me.

So does the Oasis Support line open up on Saturday for the mental health crisis of the nation who didn't secure tickets? In the same vien as the Take That break up fans in crisis of many years ago! I remember a time when someone I know, who was in a very low place mentally, phoned the National Suicide Prevention Helpline only to be placed on hold... I thought, either that was a brilliant ploy to confuse the caller, or they just wanted her to get on with it. Good times.

Is anyone else kinda annoyed that Chris Sharrock is the Oasis Reunion drummer? I just can't help but see him and think he looks so frail and old and tired. Just an ick... makes the whole band feel older than they are And he was never involved when the times were good Really preferred Whitey, even Starkey Definitely not, Chris is the best drummer Oasis ever had and how he looks shouldn't come into it.

For whatever reason I've always been completely and utterly deaf with drums. I never notice any difference between players and it's the last thing my brain is paying attention to when listening to a song. The only time I really notice them and don't like it is when the drums are at the forefront like on a lot of HFB1. Live it could be Travis Barker or some local amateur drummer who can barely keep time and I wouldn't notice the difference, particularly with Oasis songs. So basically I'm really not fussed who the drummer is. It'll likely be Chris Sharrock though if Noel considers him good enough to play in HFB's. Noel won't tolerate Alan White if he's not up to speed anymore, same with Tony McCarrol. He's always said he considers drummers to be stealing a living so if they're not perfect he won't tolerate it. Zak looks the part but I have no idea what he's doing these days or whether he'd be up for it.
Gem's a no brainer because Noel refuses to play lead anymore, he knows all the songs and gets on well with both of them, I'd like to see Andy Bell back if he's not busy never had any problem with his bass playing and he's got a good relationship with Liam and then have Bonehead hanging around and coming out for certain songs.

I'm the complete opposite - the drums drive every song I listen to. Alan not up to speed? Suggest you visit his Instagram feed. Doesn't mean he will be in the band, he probably won't but he can still play! Bonehead "hanging around"? He started the band and was integral to their sound.

Chris is a pwopa geezah. So is Alan, of course. But I’m really happy that it’s Chris. Excellent drummer, and he looks the part to me. Better than Starkey! Or Noel’s original NGHFB drummer who was atrocious!

I haven't checked him out but some other members have said they have done and that he wasn't sounding that great and as I know nothing about drums I took their word for it. hanging around as in what he does with Liam's band. I don't think he'd want to be up on stage for 20 songs or be playing stuff like Lyla that he had nothing to do with but he should come out for the 90's stuff. I agree he was integral to that early sound and that's why I want him about but even if asked I think it's unlikely he'd want to be on stage all night, Liam asked him to do it before with his band and he said no.

via whatsapp - piss take? Noel has stated that he likes take that ever since they reunited, and seeing as how every band including them is from Manchester, only confirms it to be real.
