It's great news that our Government are looking at banning live animal exports as it's about time.
Also, let's hope that they will ban Trophy Hunting next year as they really need to get the ban done. Trophy hunting can't continue for much longer and thanks to those bastards there'll be no Lions left in the wild soon. Also, canned hunting needs to be banned as well.

Brooke who are a charity to help horses, donkeys and mules sent me a Christmas card and a calendar for next year (and they did last year too). I don't donate to them regularly like all the others which I do but I'll always send them a donation now and again.
I haven't had my free calendar for next year from World Animal Protection yet and they always send me one.

It's really sad that so many British birds are on the red list now from birds of prey to garden birds. On a bit brighter note though I read that although house sparrows have been on the red list for a long time, their numbers are up in Wales. So at least that's something I guess but so many British birds are struggling now which is not good.

I read in the news that young sharks spend a lot of time under the sea looking for prey and eating it. That's interesting as I always thought that they just caught their prey by swimming and catching their prey nearer the top of the ocean.

There's a wildlife programme on BBC One next Monday with the legendary David Attenborough about meerkats which should be good. Also, next Tuesday on BBC One there's a programme about penguins so of course I'll be watching those. I thought that there was supposed to be a programme about cheetahs (my second favourite big cat after tigers) over Christmas but when I looked in the TV book I can't find it. So I don't know.

But of course you don't notice it at first but when you get towards half way through January and towards the end of January that's when you notice it more as you don't need the light on so early at 4pm like now.

Why do hateful trophy hunters always smile when they pose for a sick picture with a beautiful animal which the bastards have just killed for fun? These hunters are a waste of space and have no place in today's society.
I read today that a trophy hunter killed his own son when he mistook him for a deer. Well I'm sorry but I don't have any sympathy for them whatsoever. What goes around comes around and they should'nt go out and murder beautiful animals for fun.
