Subjectivity is objectivity taken out focus. Therefore, what you feel is that cream eggs should be on sale all year round. They are on sale all year round in the cheap shops. I don't go to those places. People in those places wear camo clothing for no good reason and keep reptiles as pets. Some of them even like clowns and have southern accents. It's abysmal.

batfink30 and walterglass, I've moved your posts about cream eggs from "Rate For What It's Worth" to this thread. Cheers.

A group of teens drove past me earlier and instead of the usual gangsta rap that always seems to playing loud from people of this age group I was shocked to hear Wall of Glass. The good times are back!

I don't really post about my personal life much, but I've been so happy these last days that I thought "why not?" Yesterday my band released our first studio album. Recorded, mixed and mastered by me and my best friend. Crazy times. Almost two years in the making, loads of trouble, loads of arguments and unnecessary discussions. But it's out. And that makes me feel truly great. This forum was special and important cause it helped me relief at times and some members (they know who they are!) sent me, back in 2015, books and information on mixing techniques. I'm very grateful! I'm not sure I can actually do this but I'll leave the link here in case anyone's interested. It's very mixed style-wise, but there's loads of Radiohead and The War On Drugs references, alongside with percussive/experimental music from our country – we're brazilians, and yes, we sing in portuguese! on Youtube: and on Spotify:

Here's the level of care in the US (worst to best): Inpatient Residential Partial Intensive Out Patient (IOP) Outpatient I'm currently at IOP. However, I've lost 26 lbs since the end of April (from 172 to today's 146). That is beyond reckless and dangerous. I've been asking for weeks for my treatment team to bump me up to a higher level of care and transfer me to another facility as the weight, and physical/mental symptoms continue to get worse. I've been denied that respect at every conversation. Well, this week I started calling places on my own (3 so far, 2 of which I've been to before). One is already clinically recommending me for INPATIENT care, whereas the other two is still in the process of going through all of this. Now, because my treatment team doesn't currently recommend a higher level of care, they will say so - which has the potential of convincing the places I'm calling not to accept me because of this. And my parents don't support my decision to seek the needed level of care, so I'm all fucking alone. Um, cretins, I'll be in the 130s this time next month. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PLAYING AT? Great fucking healthcare system this is. My life is literally endangered right now, and for what? My current IOP's financial benefit? FUCK OFF. guigsysEstring

Ooh I finally figured out how to play that Waterfall riff correctly. That weird pull-off caused me some trouble but I figured it out by listening to it in Made of Stone doc

Tonight, I went to the pub and there was a metal band from Lyon playing there and it made me wonder about some things... First, why musical scenes are (almost) non existent in the little towns or in the villages (at least here in France) ? I think it's a shame you always have to move to the big cities to find some musical activities. And even there, the situation is critical. There are less and less bands, and less and less people care about music. So that's why some little bands from Paris, Lyon, Grenoble go play in the little towns, but that doesn't change anything. I think one of the reasons, it's because music is more and more seen as a disposable comsuption object and so a lot of people aren't passionate about it anymore. And I don't think it's gonna change anytime soon. The young generation is maybe the worst when it comes to passion. I've never had any interesting discussion about music with someone younger than me. They all listen to the same dogshit and the reason why they listen to it, has nothing to do with music. Even the majority of my mates doesn't give a flying shit about music. If they knew such a forum do exist, they'd think we're all crazy. Talking about albums, songs, melodies, guitar sound and the emotions we get from it, has became a taboo, something "pretentious" or "weird". That's maybe overrating the 90's, but I think it was a much better time for music back then . I know some 35-40 years old lads who tell me that, at the time, they were constantly exchanging their CDs with their mates in the high school: "Do you want "The Bends" ?" "No, thanks, Marie already lent me it. But I would like to borrow your I Should Coco !" Nowadays, music passion is becoming more and more rare for the young generation and I think it's a big shame. That was my rant of the night !

Great fucking healthcare system this is. My life is literally endangered right now, and for what? My current IOP's financial benefit? FUCK OFF. guigsysEstring I would say "alright Nigel?" but I think the answer is fairly obvious... Have your treatment team given a reason for denying a higher level of care, and if not surely as part of your ongoing care they need to explain why they are making such decisions to ease the mental health aspects and keep you informed. The transferring to another facility is not a decision to be taken lightly but if one is already recommending inpatient status then I am not sure recommendations by your current providers will change that view. Your parents will undoubtedly have found this ongoing situation as tough as you for different reasons, and they may not support ypur current desire to relocate because they perhaps see it as a step back from the progress that has been made. This doesn't mean they do not love or support you mate, but like my family they are having to try and understand a situation of a loved one from an outside perspective- I am currently sorting out company and personal affairs having been diagnosed with a long term condition which has unfortunately brought back memories of my father's later years and illness for my mother, and is also the primary reason I haven't been posting as before. If you are determined to move and the decision rests with you then all I can say is you need to do what is best for yourself based on experience and knowledge that you have. Sometimes we have to "go it alone" to some degree Nigel, and hope that others will then or in time understand that it was a decision made with the best intentions. If you need to discuss this more deeply or simply want to vent then inbox me anytime mate and I'll be happy to go through this with you. As always best, Guigs
