Where can I buy Record Store Day releases? I'm not quite sure how it works because one Finnish site sells vinyls but there are no prices yet. Oh wait, is the purpose of RSD to buy vinyls from local dealers instead of buying from websites? well, yeah, I believe the idea is that people go to the record shops

so i need to buy a new mp3 player (no i don't have a smartphone, i'm old) this weekend (i dropped my old one and the volume control is busted). yes i prefer vinyl but i can't exactly put a turntable in my pocket or on the dashboard of my car, can i? when i put all my music on my new one, should i first create subfolders to put the music in (classic rock, brit rock, rap, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc. etc.), or should i just put anything and everything into one big folder? If often spend a few hours at a time listening to a particular genre, then probably best to put music in genre folders, but if not and you normally jump between different genres/eras every few tracks, then I'd use artist folders. It depends on what make of mp3 player you've got and how much music that needs sorting though I guess. So if you're getting one that reads the ID3 tags of the files and gives you different options for sorting through artists/albums/genres, then the folder structure doesn't matter. Go for whatever turns out to be the most convenient, you can add/remove folders whenever anyway.

You should also check Discogs. Usually better prices than eBay.

Wish I had a looper pedal. I just came up with great alternative riff for Supersonic. I'd like to try play it over power chords and see how it sounds.

Would have stayed for the bands if you didn't take 'crack' as drugs, Stag.

Had a brilliant birthday. My friends came over, had a great time. Tonight it's time for family.

The benefit of having multiple groups of people over at your birthday is that you can also have pie multiple times a day, without coming across as a feedee binging on pie. Weekend leftovers is even better.

You should also check Discogs. Usually better prices than eBay. went to two different shops today, they both had the springsteen for around $85. the prices are getting out of control. it's getting to the point where the average fan (who's broke) can't buy this stuff (like me). the guy down the street is cutting the prices on some stuff left over from last year's RSD he can't get rid of. and the record companies were crying back when cd's began approaching $20 and people started downloading the stuff for free. they'll never learn.

I like the idea of RSD but it's turned into a money making scheme which has turned completely against the normal fan. If Springsteen was to release a limited edition via his website you can bet he wouldn't charge that amount so how the organisers or stores can sell it for that kind of price is beyond me. As an example I've bought the three Noel RSD releases. Songs From The Great White North, 4 songs we already had, was £9.99, but I paid £30 on eBay. In The Heat of The Moment remixes was £12.99 for two songs and El Mexicano was £17.99 for three songs... something isn't right there. I have no sympathy for record bosses, they don't care about fans at all. I've started buying music direct from artists as much as possible now via Bandcamp, Pledge Music etc so they don't lose out as much.

Why the fuck is Finland so expensive. I could fly to London from Stockholm for 25€ but from Helsinki it cost 75€ or something.

I've noticed hottest girls in my town can be found as Lidl cashiers. And I'm not lying. I couldn't decide which line to get because both of them were so damn pretty

Honestly, I'm so disappointed... Si seulement Hamon s'était retiré, peut-être que Mélenchon serait passé... Oui... Je ne peux honnêtement pas faire barrage au FN (je m'abstiendrais et je peux pas voter apparemment de toute façon). Macron me dégoute tellement... Je pense vraiment partir étudier à l'étranger pendant 2-3 ans. Fucking France...

Been away for a weekend and got home a couple of hours ago. It was a fantastic weekend and was nice to be without an internet access.

No, seriously, I'm fucking gutted. These results are unbelievable. I really did believe Mélenchon was going to be in the 2nd round. He had the better project, the better programm, the better hope for ourr country.
I'm gutted that Macron is n°1. That guy is so contemptuous of the working class, of the people. I still remember his disgusting sentences after the attacks in Paris in 2015 and will never forget it... I'm also sad that 22% of the french voters did choose Marine Le Pen rather than humanism with "La France Insoumise". I'm particularly thinking of the working class which mostly did vote for Le Pen. Frustration, hatred is not the answer. But why did she get 22% ? Macron and Fillon are two big responsibles with their oppression of the working class.
I'm worried about the future but there's always a little bit of optimism that better days are to come and that love, passion, humanism, sharing, tenderness and respect for each other and our planet are gonna shine brighter.
