Can't believe he didn't correct you by mentioning that Croatia has been in a final! 🤣🤣🤣 And not to mention Sweden in 58! WORLD CHAMPIONS FOR FIVE MINUTES!!!✌️ But yeah, really incredible how a country with less than half of our already small population have made it to both a final and two semi finals in recent years, I can't imagine how proud you all must be for your Balkan brothers!

Yugoslavia (with only Serbian players) was playing in semi-finals in first World Cup in 1930, England needed 36 years to get to that stage ☺️

England are the Dallas Cowboys of fútbol Hey Dallas won 3 Superbowls in a four year period in the early 90s! Would have had the first three-peat if the idiotic owner hadn't sacked the coach due to his inflated ego. Also they won two SBs in the 70s, so don't tarnish them with the England brush!

Ah well, at least we got to a final. Something small nations like Scotland and Serbia can only dream of. Wanna play basketball, volleyball, handball, water polo... any collective sport that is popular in Europe? 😅 Or tennis? 😀 More popular than football?

Spain were the best team to watch by far in the tournament so deserved winners.
Re England though - anybody else think Palmer and Foden are better players than Bellingham? That's not doubting Bellingham's talent, as he is clearly a very good player and no doubt will get better but he's not on the same level as those two IMO and Southgate didn't have the bottle to play either of them in that position ahead of Bellingham.
Also I think that a more ruthless manager like Guardiola, Klopp or Mourinho would have dropped Kane who was clearly carrying an injury the whole time. No doubt Southgate is clearly a very good man manager but think he is lacking that mean/ruthless streak in him that managers like those three mentioned have.

English fans deserve it, it is time for England to win something in next 2-10 years. But they if they want football to come home, they need to start playing football. They have quality to win and instead they got to the final more because of luck than because of quality of football they were playing. They played like Serbia with few star players 😁

Glad to hear the fans that made the journey over there were largely decent, I was half expecting it to be mutiny 😂

I wish i could enjoy England's loss more, but it got a bit harder simply because some of the England hate online is just so fucking dumb. Seen like fifty people trying to convince me Jude Bellingham is the devil because he kicked an inanimate object after he lost a final, and Jesus Christ, i'd almost have preferred football coming home to this shit.

Gareth Southgate has resigned as England manager following England’s loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 Final.
Southgate’s England record in competitions:
2018 World Cup: Semi Final 2020 Euros: Final 2022 World Cup: Quarter Final 2024 Euros: Final
England’s most successful manager in nearly 60 years, but couldn’t get over the line with delivering trophies.
Thank you for your work, Gareth. 🏴

England has a great team, great players, you probably could play a similar game as Spain or Argentina. You need a better manager.

He's leaving at the right time. A decent man who put everything he had into the job and had taken the team as far as he could (which was a long way, for those keeping score)
The loss v Italy will forever haunt him. An England manager has never had an easier opportunity to win a tournament than he had in 2020.

I wasn't that gutted this time around, lost to the best team in the tournament. 2020 was the one that got away.
