I mostly just wanted them drop the shitty remasters but oh well. It's interesting because Supersonic reissue doesn't seem to be using the remastered audio.

OMG you people are impossible to please. We’re getting the Monnow Valley and Sawmills versions of the albums. The Sad Song demo is likely the Liam version of the song. I am the Walrus would have been nice but still a chance that’s a bonus track somewhere. But what else is left? They can’t just make brand new stuff from 1994. There’s already opposition to live stuff. Exactly. They could never win with this release, virtually everything is already available The next two releases will be ones to look out for I’ve been saying that all throughout this thread. I’ve probably been saying it for over a decade now. What Oasis really needs an Oasis anthology of outtakes, demos, acoustic takes, unreleased material and stellar live cuts. It sounds like we were sorta close to that back in 2020 with the canceled 2000-2008 rarities album.
Nobody needs endless remasters or color variants. We know the band had a good stockpile of unreleased stuff. Noel and Liam aren’t getting any younger. We fans aren’t getting any younger.
Of course I’m gonna buy the new DM and thus feeding into this redundant cycle.

That second disc is looking really goed! I don't understand all the hate for it. Stuff we don't have yet. We already have all The Real People demos. Would be nice to have an official release of See the Sun, Colour My Life etc, but that's not really Definitely Maybe, would be better for an Anthology project. I'm looking forward to see what's in the super deluxe boxset. Maybe that 1994 live gig from Belfast (always nice to get a full live concert from the early days).

Will there be a Super Deluxe version? Has a super deluxe outside of DOYS ever included tracks that weren't in the regular deluxe? Everything else I can think of has only been about adding more formats rather than more tracks. |

The first disc we've already got. The second disc is full of songs that were, as is well documented, not good enough for the album. Not to mention we've heard most of it. Hopefully there are some different versions on a 3rd disc. Like Walrus or the slow 11 minute version of Slide Away.

There’s already opposition to live stuff. To me the make or break of this release is not really the bonuses, as there's probably not that many that Noel is willing to share. He probably thinks the rest is garbage and he's keeping the unheard songs for a later anniversary, when alternate versions of the songs we know are sold. The important part, the one we dont know yet about is the remaster (and a remix). If its a lazy one, then it'll be a disappointing release. This album needs a fresh version like the Beatles did. |

You could be right but I still think that the 1993 demo version of Live Forever deserves a proper release as the only official release it had was on an NME tape back in the 90s and it's never been officially released on a Definitely Maybe release. |
