Well consider my semi to have been flicked by a wet towel. Even Donovan’s artwork is worse this time. It’s nice that he’s continuing the magic secrets series, but after teasing he’d release Oasis rarities via this series it is ludicrous to only put out readily available solo songs. What’s the point!? I too was excited by the prospect of potential Oasis rarities being released on RSD but the more I’ve pondered it the last 3 years that is never going to happen. He needs all that stuff as selling points for future reissues, compilations or anthologies. So for example a Liam Stop The Clocks, One Way Road demo or any SOTSOG unreleased gems ain’t happening. There must be tonnes of lower tier tunage he could release via magic secrets and still have some nuggets to help milk reissues with. |

These are neither "Magic" nor "Secrets" but I guess I applaud Noel for supporting the cause. Won't be re-buying those tunes though.

I think he over promised in the original statement for this series. Its got people expecting HFB & Oasis rarities. 2 releases in and its 4 demos that are already readily available.
Just wait until ‘Back The Way We Came vol. 2 (2022-2032) comes out and the bonus third disk is all the demos compiled 🥸

Or…is it Columbia (take 36), which is a great song, but I’ve heard enough early versions.

Not impressed with these years list. Outside Noel and George Harrison’s Wonderwall, not much I want. I’ll prob just buy Noel’s 7” on eBay.

Magic Secrets #3 Side A: Oasis - Weight Of The World On Your Shoulders Side B: Oasis - Weight Of The World On Your Shoulders (Instrumental) I’m not even taking the mick, I would genuinely expect something like that. RSD is essentially a vehicle to get established tracks on vinyl for the first time. |

I cant remember. Why doesn’t he have the rights do it now? They were going to do the latter days best of with the unreleased songs a couple of years back. Thought he had the rights to do whatever he wanted to now? For the songs he wrote at least. |
