Fingers crossed. Not need for another rejected Taylor Swift tunes album. ๐ Imagine an album of Squire written songs with 1 or 2 from Simon Aldred and 1 or 2 from Liam instead of 10 from Wyatt and Kirsten

Notice how thereโs no vinyl book pack like with all the other 3 Liam albums. Itโs just the standard vinyl + coloured vinyl. Thatโs a big shame, unless Iโve missed it? Also no Deluxe version with extra tracks. Seems right to me as this seems to be a straightforward album.

We should be getting some full album reviews soon since we are 1 month away from its release.
Someone on Twitter said they heard it all and loved it. Some music label guy. Liam responded to him also. Seemed genuine.

Fingers crossed. Not need for another rejected Taylor Swift tunes album. Would much rather have that than a Liam written beady eye album which you kept wanting for ages. That would sadly be a commercial disaster

I don't see him going back to the old formula. I think he'll ride the squire train until it comes off the rails and John goes back to his art then Barry will become the main guitarist and he'll merge squire/oasis material with little old solo stuff involved. Who the fuck is Barry?

Who the fuck is Barry? Barry Gallagher, the fourth Gallagher brother.

That would sadly be a commercial disaster Great to see that your main concern is the commercial part. But yeah, Liam solo albums are highly commercial and he's become a merchandise lately. So I guess in a way, you are right. I dont necessarily yearn for a Beady Eye comeback. It was more the spirit of the adventure: a band project, with people who wrote the songs actually onstage for the tour, and why not some Liam songs. The Squire one will be that : the guy who wrote the songs will be there to show for them.

I hope this album does well so I can have a next one. All a musical figure like Liam Gallagher needs to have is a beautiful voice, nice drum beats, lots of guitars and beautiful melodies. This album seems (and I hope) to have all these characteristics. If a new solo album by Liam is released in the future it will necessarily have to have a guitarist at Squire's level, good songs, and his voice must remain at these levels, if this does not happen an intense "qualitative gap" could emerge, and this must not to happen. If he wants to remain faithful to the music that reflects him and be successful in the pop-rock field, he must necessarily stick to these rules. I can't wait for the album to come out because I already know it will be money well spent, even better than some of the solo Oasis and Gallagher stuff.

Liam seems in a good mood in every picture I've seen of them promoting the album.

Ok, having listened to the new tune five times, it's a strong 2/10 for me.
It's basically a song that's already been written 250 times, extremely derivative and bland. Sounds like a mix of Cornershop and some forgotten (for a reason) Robbie Williams B-Side.
Also, I have a big problem with Kurstin "americanising" the sound. Everything is super M.O.R., polite and calculated. Where's the dirt, feedback, where's the Squire's signature VOX/Marshall vibe?
It's a musical version of an H&M basic T-shirt collection.

I'm also liking this album for the mix of sounds which is clearly better than much of the other material by Gallagher Bros and Oasis. So for me nothing should be changed so far.
