After a month of listening I can admit that I personally consider this album to be my absolute favorite of the post-Oasis era for several reasons. It's the only album since SOTSOG that flows really well track after track. This has only happened for me with DM,WTSMG, and SOTSOG. The rest of the albums of both Oasis and Liam's solo (I won't include Noel's solo album because I stopped liking him in 2016) have many Pop-Rock hits but overall as an album they fail to achieve the fluidity and compactness of the ones I mentioned above . Despite having only one guitar, LGJS is also the rockiest album since DM and this is really an important element for me. That being said, I always want to get a release of "Nothing Nowhere" or some songs written by Liam, and would like JS to be involved in it in some way. It's amazing how "One Day At Time" has grown on me significantly even though I didn't like it at all in the first few days. Currently my song ratings are as follows: Raise Your Hands 8 Mars to Liverpool 9,5 One Day at a Time 8 I'm a Wheel 9,5 Just Another Rainbow 7 Love You Forever 10 Make It Up as You Go Along 6,5 You're Not the Only One 7,5 (Speeded up a little, it gets better) I'm So Bored 7,5 (Speeded up a little, it gets better) Mother Nature's Song 8 I'm revisiting it this week. I played it so much when it first came out

What a fucking album tbh.
Only song I feel is b-side worthy is Make It Up As You Go Along. Play all the others regularly. Liam's vocals are absolutely on point throughout.

I even like Make It Up, particularly the melody change in the "I got a candy-colored tangerine flake..." verse. It's a little fun tune, like those light-hearted Beatles songs.

Make It Up As You Go Along is one of my favourite songs, goes to show again that taste in music is very subjective

I like Make It Up As You Go Along too and I'm actually glad that it's on the album.

Liam replied to someone on Twitter that he'll be on the Jimmy Fallon Show. Don't know if he was being serious or not, but would surely be great to get another pro shot live performance

They aren’t flying all the way over here to just play 1 gig. Gotta do some more promo. Let’s get Liam on Hot Ones and Tiny Desk. Maybe CBS Sunday Morning.

Tiny Desk seems to be for more younger musicians... has any older bands done it?

Tiny Desk is pretty cool, but i doubt Liam would ever do such a thing.

Tiny Desk is pretty cool, but i doubt Liam would ever do such a thing. Yeah I just threw it out there because it’s a trendy spot to appear these days with lots of eye balls. It’s also a solid 4-5 hour drive south from NYC so it isn’t happening. They will stay local.

I remember weezer and the smile (part of Radiohead) did I can totally see Weezer doing it They did it yearrrrs ago. It was a good one. Big acts do it too, but not really big english rock n roll bands. More like Sheryl Crow, stuff like that, US.
